• Designed RF circulator calibration kits using HFSS and modeled the effects of substrate biases across
production tolerances for L-Band and S-Band Radar front end components.

• Gained a system level understanding of the Dragon 2 spacecraft to develop and execute a test plan for
evaluating instrumentation grounding requirements for signal integrity.

• Researched and designed microgravity experiments to ensure jetpack technologies and life support systems
will function properly in Martian gravity.
• Automated a trigger system and prototyped an experiment housing platform that was designed to fly on a
drone that simulates varying gravitational forces.

RF Power Amplifier & FM Transmitter January 2019 – May 2019
• Biased, stabilized, matched, and large signal simulated a VHF transistor PA with Keysight ADS.
• Designed and fabricated a 2 two stage push-pull design to increase efficiency and decrease temperature.
• Implemented a Colpitts VCO to create a VHF transmitter with 19dBm output power and 20 kHz tuning BW.
Micro-Drone Spherical Shield Design September 2018 – May 2019
• Modeled and built a micro drone to produce a 9:1 thrust to weight ratio.
• Designed an outer shell to encapsulate drone and protect it against impacts and crashes.
• Began coding guidance, navigation and control algorithms for throwing and bouncing drone against objects.
Autonomous Drink Cooler August 2017 – June 2018
• Prototyped a wooden frame that houses a cooler and drives using an RC transmitter.
• Implemented a Simultaneous Location and Mapping algorithm to control it using an Arduino.
• Designed the power distribution system and safety/navigation shut offs.
Microgravity Blood Transfusion August 2017 – December 2017
• Simulated an IV drip using an Arduino, a motor pump.
• Modeled an implemented a BJT motor driving amplifier.
Vertical Take-off and Landing Drone May 2017 – July 2017
• Designed and built a tri-coper drone, 3D modeling and printing joints with 1 degree of rotational freedom
• Contributed to the Pixhawk Tri-copter and VTOL autonomy forums.
RELEVANT COURSEWORK
Control System Design & Intro to Computer Vision January 2019 – Present
• Implemented feedback control logic to position a motor with state space integral control using a TI
microcontroller programmed on the register level.
• Analyzed PID tuning characteristic on a real time system to develop fundamentals of physical modeling.
• Learned the theory behind convolutional neural networks and feature based detection and recognition.
• Combined knowledge of real time mechanical and camera systems to design a rotating airplane tracking
camera which was proposed and given funding as a startup idea for Create-X Capstone at Georgia Tech.
Radio Frequency Engineering II January 2019 – May 2019
• Learned Keysight ADS to design a small signal VHF amplifier with strict power, gain, isolation, and
stability factor specifications.
• Collaborated with a team of 3 to implement a Balun in the VHF amp to create a push pull power amp and
printed the board to test performance using network and spectrum analyzers.
• Applied the knowledge of power amplifiers combined with oscillators and phased locked loops to design
and print a functional Colpitts VCO with a two-stage amp and PLL that transmitted various tones over VHF.
Electromagnetic Applications January 2019 – May 2019
• Learned and utilized the Smith Chart to characterize and match various airborne power transfer devises at
RFID frequencies.
• Applied Maxwell’s equations and Transmission Line Theory to understand plane waves, modes of
propagation, wave guides, and microstrip lines.

• Collaborated with a team of 5 to organize 6 social events for the freshman residence hall.
