Introduction

The general cost system is the structure with which we determine the sale price
and one of the most important items in the process of marketing our
merchandise, the way in which the sales price impacts that as we all know is
decisive in the decision of Purchase of the consumer or potential customer is the
main indicator to control by the management of any business; basically the sale
price must absorb the cost of the merchandise, the costs of sales, the freights,
the taxes and tariffs, the insurances and finally the profit margin. The latter is the
reason for the company, the contribution margin of each product depends on the
optimization of the aforementioned variables, and the freight cost is the most
relevant, since in addition to price it must comply with the delivery and care
commitments of the merchandise, in this essay we will see what is the real impact
of the freight in the general costs and what are the measures that the
management must assume for the control of this important indicator.

CURRENT SITUATION OF THE INTERNATIONAL PHYSICAL

DISTRIBUTION CHAIN
The great challenge of the logistics managers of the world is to comply with the purchase
orders and maintain the distribution logistics costs within the budget, in the last decade
these costs have been maintaining a progressive upward trend, and basically for three
aspects fundamental that this phenomenon presents, the main one of them and the most
important challenge of international transport companies is to underestimate the use of
fossil fuels and to migrate to cleaner and more stable energies in terms of supply, since for
No one is a secret that the world reserves of these fuels is increasingly scarce and the costs
of their extraction are increasingly high.
On the other hand, with the growing demand for merchandise and the increasingly active
globalization, they have put in check both the shipbuilders and the logistics engineers of the
ports as well as the countries' gov- erns, who have to make the decisions and actions for
the optimization of the entire available infrastructure platform and improve it to optimize
the entire supply chain and comply with delivery times and frequencies, which must be
consistent with the seasonality of the market.
And lastly, shipbuilders are also in the process of manufacturing ships that are increasingly
efficient in size and consumption, seeking to impact the cost of merchandise as little as
possible.
All this analysis puts us in the context of the current situation of international physical
distribution and should be a point of mandatory occupation by all the actors of it, so
companies have had to advance this problem by visualizing the problem in the future and
taking actions to mitigate the problem by offering more and more easy transport and
storage products, seeking alliances with local distributors in the destinations and even
opening own storage warehouses to build trust in their customers and consumers and stay
at the forefront of the market. It is important to note that within the logistics chain
necessary for trade, transport has a weight of 37% of total cost, stock control (22%), storage
(21%) and others such as order reception, service to the client, distribution and
administration (20%).

Mains ideas
The mayor cost of the commerce is the transport
One of the biggest problems is the difficulty or the high costs that are incurred in the
clients' categories.
The biggest challenge is for governments when they are focused on improving their
infrastructures for the receipt, shipment and internal transport of goods
Transport engineers have another great challenge and is to send more merchandise
without firing freight costs

Conclusion
In summary, the future of trade and development of the industry and the cost of
merchandise at destination has everything to do with international physical distribution,
to solve the problem here plated, trade will continue to flow otherwise it could be
retracted and with The global economy, today for hory in consumer economies and in the
face of the immediate cultural pressures of the final consumer, it is imperative to take this
challenge very seriously and thus ensure that our company will be in the places of choice
of the final consumer.
