Question two

In my opinion, decreasing federal authority over states as well as school districts in

provision of education, but it still assigns key responsibilities to these entities help in promotion

of the mission of the department of education, and the reason is because decreasing authority

federal authority ensures that the states authority is not affected and hence the states are able to

work towards provision of high quality education thus promoting achievement of the mission of

education. Decreasing federal authority over states also ensures that the education department is

able to identify most of the issues which are affecting the education sector and hence respond to

them appropriately thus promoting achievement of the mission of department of education. Some

of the constitution which apply to ESSA of 2015 comprise of; accountability to learn and achieve

and provision of equal opportunity (Obama,2016).
