In Mathematics 1

I. Objectives:

The student will be able to identify and write numbers one to ten.

a. Recognize number one to ten.

b. Demonstrating the proper way of counting numbers 1-10.

c. And recite the numbers one to ten including to recognize numbers name.

II. Subject matter:

a. Recognizing numbers one to ten.

b. The student should be able to count one to ten, most can remember the ten numbers fairly
easily and learn to recite them, like a song or rhyme.

III. Procedure:

a. Preliminary:

 Prayer

 Attendance

b. Review:

 The student will be singing a song related to numbers one to ten.

c. Lesson Proper:

a. Activity:

 Every card has a number, lift a number up, say its name out loud, and then ask
each child to find the same number in his or her set of cards. Have child practise
saying its name.

b. Analysis:

 What number is this?

 If they cannot give a correct answer so that’s the time that you need to explain it to
them.

c. Abstraction:

 Discuss to the student how counting and recognizing numbers important in life.
d. Application:

 Match up the number.
