mallusetasi. Today, i want to tell a story the title is the beauty and the beast. So please enjoy

THE LEGEND OF TELAGA WARNA

Long long time ago, there was a kingdom in west java. The kingdom was ruled by a king
named majesty prabu . he was a kind and wise king. But it was a pity because the king and his
queen did not have any children. That was why the king went to the jungle . there he prayed to
god everyday, begging for a child. “oh my godness please........ please give me a children” asked
the king.

And a few week later a miracle happened his dream came true. The queen got pregnant.
The king and the queen were very happy. All people in the kingdom also felt happy . Nine
months later the baby was born . It was a beautiful baby girl which later named as rukmini gilang
. the king and the queen loved their beautiful daughter so much. They gave whatever she
wanted. It mad princess became a very spoiled girl. When her wish couldn’t be realized, she
became very angry. She even said bad things often. Day by day, the princess grew more
beautiful.

One day, the princess rukmini will be celebrated her 17th birthday party. and the people of
the kingdom planned to give a very beautiful necklace as the birthday gift for the princess in her
seventeenth with hope that the princess would happily accepted it.

Finally a long awaited day came. It was a big and beautiful party. Now is the time for
people of the kingdom to present their special gift for the princess. They handed the gift to the
king, its a necklace that gleam varius colors. Then the king gave it to the princess rukmini,
Princess accepted the necklace, she looked at the present in a glance.” Come on my
daughter,wear this lovely necklace , they love you so much. They will be happy if you wear this
necklace.”the king asked.

“what’s?? You said this necklace is beautiful ? are you blind ? this is the ugliest necklace
i have ever seen, “i don’t want to wear it ! i hate this necklace”. Shouted the princess. Then she
threw the necklace, and it was broken. The gold and jewels were spread out of the floor. “ can
you give me anything else. ittss impossible for me to wear it, dad”. Everybody was shocked.

in their silence, The queen was so sad to see her daughter behaviour. Tears began to come
down from the queen eyes. Everybody was crying. The tears fell like rain. They cried until tears
flooded the palace, It made a pool of water. Soon the palace became a big lake. The lake finally
sank the kingdom and the water was colorful. Since then people named the lake as TELAGA
WARNA OR THE COLORFUL LAKE. Ok, this my story and the moral value that we can
learn from the story is
Moral value : how we need to appreciate what others give and do not refuse, just accept that.
