RECIPE OF ECUADORIAN DISH

SHRIMP CEVICHE

Ingredients

 2 pounds cooked shrimp and peeled.


 2 small red onions, thinly sliced.
 4 tomatoes, thinly sliced or diced.
 1 green or red pepper – diced.
 The juice of about 15-20 lemons
 The juice of an orange
 ½ cup of tomato sauce.
 1 bunch cilantro finely chopped.
 Salt and oil to taste

Preparation

1. Cut the onion slices and add a spoon of salt, then rinse thoroughly with cold water.
2. Mix all ingredients in a good size dish and let stand in the refrigerator for at least one to
hour. Test and add salt if necessary.
3. Serve with chili or hot sauce, chifles or patacones.
