Auto-Tune Pro VST3/ARA macOS Notes

Installation
The Auto-Tune Pro installer will automatically install the plug-in in the correct location, and no
reboot of the computer will be necessary.

Authorization
For authorization instructions, please see the “Authorizing Auto-Tune Pro” document included
with the installer.

Compatibility
Auto-Tune Pro is a VST3 plug-in and is not compatible with hosts that only support the VST2
format. For more information, please see our Host Compatibility and O
 S Compatibility pages.

ARA (Audio Random Access)

Auto-Tune Pro now supports ARA in Studio One 3. ARA is a technology that allows for
closer integration and exchange of information between audio plugins and host
applications (digital audio workstations). Please see the Auto-Tune Pro User Guide for a list
of supported actions. Instructions for opening Auto-Tune Pro as an ARA plug-in in Studio
One 3 can be found here.

Backwards Compatibility
For those upgrading from older versions of Auto-Tune, please note that Auto-Tune Pro will
open sessions created with Auto-Tune 8.1.x, but not e arlier versions. Auto-Tune Pro can
therefore be co-installed with version 8.0.x or earlier.

Do not change these parameters during playback

Changing the following settings during playback will result in audio artifacts:
Low Latency (Settings Menu)
Formant
Classic

Incorrect window size when loading PC sessions in Cubase or Nuendo
In versions of Cubase prior to Cubase 8 and Nuendo prior to Nuendo 6.5, loading a PC session
into Cubase or Nuendo for Mac results in an incorrect window size. Simply grabbing the edge
of the window and moving the window causes the window to snap to the correct size.

Note object pitch preview in Cubase and Nuendo
In order to hear pitch previews when clicking Note Objects in Cubase/Nuendo, you must
uncheck the Cubase/Nuendo Preferences option, "Disable VST3 plugins when no audio
present." This option is checked by default, so you will not hear previews until you manually
disable it.

Hardware buffer size for time correction

For best performance, we recommend a hardware buffer size of 1024 samples when
performing time correction.

Modifier Keys
The following modifier keys are active in Auto-Tune Pro:
Shift - Toggles Snap-To-Note state in Graph Mode. Toggles Momentary state in Auto Mode.
Command + Click on a control - Returns the parameter to its default value
Option - Enables horizontal movement of correction objects in Graph Mode
Delete - Deletes the most recent line segment when using the Line Tool
Top Row Number Keys (1-0) - Graph Mode function selection (QWERTY keys only)
