1. The number of people using the services


This deals with the demands side of the growth.

1.1. People who is not using the services (Untapped market)


In order to attract people to use the service, we can either create needs or solving
the friction that they are experiencing now. Firstly, we discretize the demographic
into sub-categories and list down the possibilities to tap into their market.

1.1.1. By ages
1.1.1.1. For babies: Offer service such as milk powder/breast milk
delivery.
1.1.1.2. For children: Fast food delivery/sweet stuffs.
1.1.1.3. For teenager: Offer hipster meal plan. Commented [o1]: The common features among these 3

1.1.4.1. Push for neighborhood restaurants to localize the supply and
demand. In order to optimize the delivery manpower by travelling
in well-defined region.
1.1.4.2. Offer food delivery HITCH services. It gives ample time and allows
the drivers/algorithm to plan the best route, such that it
optimizes the use of manpower.

1.2. People who has already using the services

1.2.1. Understand the demographic in terms of their dietary preference.


1.2.2. Offer subscription plan for delivery, “Unlimited*” delivery at a
monthly fee. It takes delivery fees off their mind and they will order
more to “make it worth”. *Subject to daily limit.
1.2.3. Push notifications 1 hour before lunch time to trigger demands. Or the
night before. Call it “Order now and eat later fresh”. This function will
also benefit the restaurant in terms of preparation time and allow the
drivers/algorithm to best plan their route.

1.2.4. Sometimes people are lazy to make decisions, use algorithm to


understand demographic’s’ dietary preference and hence, give daily
recommendations.

1.2.5. Look out for big events that invite party and celebration.
1.2.5.1. World cup- Push for alcoholic drinks delivery
1.2.5.2. Exam period- Push for suppers

2. The number of participating restaurants


This deals with the supply side of the growth factor. They also contribute to the capacity of
growth.

2.1. After understanding the demographic, increase the number of participating


restaurants that suit the demands and dietary preference.
2.2. Give incentives to participating restaurants. Encourage them to join. Work with
them in terms of workflow. Set up a SOP for people to work on, that increases the
speed of preparation. To always remember, the faster an order is fulfilled, the
quicker the next order comes in.
2.3. Look out for niche/boutique/popular restaurants. Ride along their popularity with
the delivery services with slogan, “Cut the que, no excuse. Enjoy the best of the best
anywhere you like. Hassle-Free. Close to you.”

3. The number of delivery men.


This controls the capacity for growth as well. They are the agents to match demands and
supply with a dimension of time attached to it. By fully utilizing the capacity of manpower
and increasing the productivity and efficiency, orders can be fulfilled faster and hence more
orders can flow in.

3.1. Planning- Offer incentives to customers who send in their order as earlier as
possible.
3.2. Productivity & Efficiency- Use algorithm to plan the best route. Gives ample for
restaurants to prepare.
3.3. Provide E-scooter/ E-bike/Motorbike rental services to drivers who can’t afford to
purchase. Rentals are waived once they hit the sales target/hit a certain number of
orders fulfilled.
4. Others
4.1. People not subscribing the services because they don’t have the payment options
available (think of teenager/seniors who doesn’t have a debit card). Provide
alternative payment options.
4.1.1. Cash
4.1.2. Mobile pay
4.1.3. DahmakanPAY (allows them to top up the account, similar to GRABPAY)

4.2. While the cons of having delivery meals


4.2.1. Sometime office people just like to take a walk outside and breathe, instead
of having meal in the office.
4.2.2. The freshness of the food depends on the travelling time.
4.2.3. Inflexibility in changing the order and rectification of a wrong order. It lacks
customization.
