Culajao Mangrove Eco-Park in Roxas City, Capiz has the distinction of being a
community protected mangrove reserve and the only one within the city. It stretches
within 4.69 hectares and home to diverse marine and mangrove species. From the
road we take a short walk under the shed of mangroves along the way to get to the
reception area. Mingle with nature and get a flight out in this world relaxing in nipa huts
interconnected with at least 100 meters of thrilling pedestrian suspension bridges. Nipa
huts are in different sizes and can host at most 20 persons.
They have several packages for tours that include a bamboo raft (banca) ride
along the river to get a closer look of the 19 species of mangroves that serve as habitat
for a vast variety of fishes, crustaceans, mollusks, and shells. By it you could watch the
herons and other exotic bird species flying around catching fish. A fish cage is also
available for hook and line fishing. But due to low tide we did not do this there.
We also listen to a briefing about the place from there COOP chairperson.
However they do not permit visitors to stay overnight or just stay late at night in
their cottages/ nipa huts. I think nobody could relax with the deafening noises created
by the denizen of different creatures around.
The Cadimahan- Libotong River Tour, launched last September 2, 2009 is a new
interest for Roxas City residents and tourists. It is another project of the Roxas City
government which could provide more livelihood for the fisher folks in Lawis Baybay.
There we road a balsa while eating and enjoying the scene of nature. Our tour
guide gives us some orientation about the river and all the living creatures there.
Capiz Bay Resort with its fishponds, private shoreline, its trees, facilities and
rustic air-is a real boom to tired minds and limbs. Located in Brgy. Libas, Roxas City,
Capiz, it is a mere 15-minute ride from the heart of the city.
The fishing area attracts guests who are delighted with the sure catch, hands on,
fishing experience. The "hook and cook" your catch theme is one of the resort's popular
attractions. The airy and clean cabanas have the best view of the beach where friends
and family enjoy a day's treat.
There we played some parlor games, did some camping activities, and enjoyed
the beach through swimming.
It was a nice and happy tour with all the very good view of nature and some
astonishing facts about those places.
Pair it up all with the delicious viand, and it becomes extravagantly gorgeous.
What is a Narrative Report?
A narrative or story is an account of a series of related events, experiences, or the
like, whether true (episode, vignette, travelogue, memoir, autobiography, biography) or
fictitious (fairy tale, fable, story, epic, legend, novel). The word derives from the Latin
verb narrare (to tell), which is derived from the adjective gnarus (knowing or skilled).
Along with exposition, argumentation and description, narration, broadly defined, is one
of four rhetorical modes of discourse. More narrowly defined, it is the fiction-writing
mode in which the narrator communicates directly to the reader.
Narrative is found in all forms of human creativity, art, and entertainment,
including speech, literature, theatre, music and song, comics, journalism, film, television
and video, video games, radio, game-play, unstructured recreation, and performance in
general, as well as some painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, and other visual
arts, as long as a sequence of events is presented. Several art movements, such
as modern art, refuse the narrative in favor of the abstract and conceptual.

Guidelines For Writing A Narrative Essay
