    MATH EDUCATION, GOOD PRACTICES IN CUBA

    It´s one of the countries that is highlighted in Latin America and the Caribbean in
    question learning teaching education.

     The professors are trained at the university level. The basic training for
    teachers is satisfactory in mathematics and offers specific practices for the
    teaching of mathematics.
     The island has solid mathematical study plans for mathematics and
    computer science teachers.
     Public policies favor mathematics and science along with technology.

    Every year the MATECOMPU forum is held in the city of Varadero, which
    consists of:

     Share pedagogical issues and scientific results.


     To discuss papers, presentations of posters, conferences, workshops,
    round tables, talks and exhibition of teaching aids.
    The central motto “RENEW AND INNOVATE” the strategies to learn, teach and
    apply Mathematics, Statistics and computing in different contexts, relying on
    scientific research.
