Activity 7 Writing Task 2

In the past, most people would know people in their area because we lived in small area whereas now,

we do not know much about people who live around us. In my opinion they are several advantages and
disadvantages about living in small community.

Living in a small community made us able to meet people around us. We could meet all of the people and
saw everyone regularly. More interaction among us would make us feel more connected to each other.
Building connection to each other means that we shared a lot of things together and more importantly
we helped each other. Those brings us togetherness, we would help people when they were suffering so
they could get better later. Also we would feel secure because we thought that we have each other back.
That could lead to more peaceful life.

However, there were disadvantages to live in small community. People in small community tended to
have the same activity and the same perspective of things. It made such a strong view point of one thing
so it could bring a steady life where they would settle on the same phase of life over and over. The second
thing, people in small community interacted more so when someone had a problem for one thing or with
each other, other people might know the problem too. The worst case that the problem could come
bigger.

Those are the advantages and disadvantages for living in a small community, although there are more
things we can get from living in small community.
