Instructions:
Please read the following instructions carefully before submitting this Hands-On Exercise:
You need to use MS word document to prepare and submit the Hands-On Exercise.
It should be clear that your Hands-On Exercise will not get any credit if:

▪ The exercise is submitted after due date.


▪ The exercise is not in the required format (.doc or .docx)
▪ The submitted exercise does not open or file is corrupt.
▪ Exercise is copied (partial or full) from any source (websites, forums, students, etc.)

Learning Outcome:

After completing this exercise, trainee will be able to:


● Understand Google Ads (AdWords) and AdSense
● Create a simple campaign using Google Ads (AdWords)
● Understand Google policies for creating a successful Google AdSense and Google
Ads(AdWords)
Solution Guidelines
GRADING SCHEME

1) How many attempts a trainee made for creating Google AdSense account? (3 marks)
The trainee is expected to understand all challenges in getting Google AdSense approval. He must document the
challenges and perform at least 1 complete attempt for account creation in order to gain full marks.
a. Screenshots for work verifications will be expected in solution file.
b. YouTube videos, blogs and articles which the trainee read must be shared to earn full marks. The trainee
must fully understand what it needs to get an AdSense account approved.
c. Develop an understanding of the AdSense code and why this code is needed. Even if the account is not
approved the trainee must study online the purpose of AdSense code.

2) Is the blogger account link or snapshot shown in the solution with the latest post? (2 marks)
a. A Web Link or image of the blog with one latest post is expected in solution.
b. If the trainee already owns a blog and AdSense account, he must send us a snapshot of his blog post and
AdSense activity which is not older than 2 weeks. (2 marks)

3) Google AdWords account creation process (2 marks)


a. What kind of objection or rejection emails you received from AdWords. How you bypass or resolve the
credit card step?
b. What problems you faced in resolving issues of AdWords account creation.

4) Execution of AdWords campaign is not expected but campaign settings and parameters should be
shared in the solution file. (3 marks)

a. Snapshots for work verification will be expected in solution file.


b. YouTube videos, blogs, and articles which the trainee read in order to understand Google AdWords.
c. A brief written analysis of what data you observed on screen while setting campaign parameters.

5) Please carefully review following marks deduction details.


 0.5 marks will be deducted in both parts if you missed
o [1] Online links you reviewed for problem-solving and understanding AdWords part.
o [2] Online links you reviewed for problem-solving and understanding AdSense part.
 1 mark each is deducted if any part of [4] a,b,c is missing.
 1 mark is deducted if AdSense rejection correspondence is not shown.
 1 mark is deducted if link to a blog post or image is missing
 1 mark deducted if Trainee studied no online link to understand AdSense code.
