- So he do write the inferno because he had
lost his way and needed direction.
- As I`ve said a while ago, inferno is long

- Ma`am, he heard cries and anguish
- That`s right!

- He heard a miserable soul crying because of eternal

pain. Dante heard how gnaws their teeth because of
the pain.

- What Dante saw in Hell? - Ma`am, Dante sees the first of the souls in
- Yes, Lina? torment.

- Dante saw how wasp comes out from the

skin of soul and how blood comes out.
-
- Can you imagine what Dante saw?
Like if have watched the last episode of
Jessica Soho. About the boy who jumped
to get a rambutan and suddenly fell in
sharp metal fence and his two legs
skewered.
- Maybe his reaction was same as yours.
- Who was with him when he entered the gate
of Hell?
- Virgil, ma`am
- Yes, Rona?
- While roaming around in hell, Dante was with Virgil.
Virgil begins the journey by telling to Dante the
screams he hears is the souls who did not choose evil
or good. These souls have been denied to enter in
heaven or hell. Since they did not choose a side in
life, they cannot rest in death.
- Then they reach the river of Acheron or know as a
river of pain, this place was the boarder of hell. There
is a boat to take newly dead souls across the river
and was guided of Charon.

-Who was Charon in the poem? - He was the person who Recognized Dante as
- Yes, Pauline? a living man and angrily refuses him to
passage.

- She`s right!
- He also recognized and refuses Dante to take
to another side of the river.
- But Virgil force Charon to bring them the
other side of the River.
- Virgil explains to Dante that the only soul
meant to be in hell can only be crossed the
river.

- As they crossing the river an earth quake

shakes the ground and Dante faints of
Terror.

started in Canto III. When he woke up he
was in Canto IV which was the first circle of
hell located.
