Returns & Exchanges

Guide for Customers

1. All returns must be authorised in advance by phoning 01444 237070 or emailing sales@parkcameras.com and
requesting a unique Park Cameras Returns (PCR) number.
2. You should notify us whether you are returning the item because you have changed your mind, or because the
item is faulty.
Change of mind
3. Items purchased in-store or online are offered with a 14 day “no quibble” peace of mind guarantee. To qualify:
• Goods must be complete and returned in as new saleable condition
• Goods must be returned complete with the original box, packaging and accessories
• Used (pre-owned) goods must be returned in the same condition as sold, with all included accessories
• Software, memory cards, filters, film, batteries and DVDs must still be sealed
• You must notify us by phone or email within 14 days of purchase
• You must return the item within 14 days of notifying us
• Any promotional items included at the time of sale must be returned
• You must have your original receipt
4. You are responsible for returning the goods to us (within 14 days of notifying us) at your own risk and cost,
therefore we strongly recommend you use an insured delivery method.
5. Until we receive your item(s), you must take reasonable care of the goods. Any use of the goods, or damage to
the goods, beyond that necessary to inspect the goods upon delivery, may result in a restocking charge being
applied to cover the loss that we might reasonably expect to incur on reselling the item.
6. Park Cameras do not sell new or used goods on a trial basis. Any goods returned to us which do not meet the
criteria above will be returned to you and no refund issued.
Faulty goods
7. Within the item’s warranty period, we will arrange for your item to be returned to us by secure delivery method,
at our cost. We will take responsibility for safe transit for the item once it is signed for by the courier.
8. You must return the item with all original packaging and accessories, and ensure it is securely packed in plain
packaging (for security).
9. Until we receive your item(s), you must take reasonable care of the goods. Any damage to the goods that we
identify upon delivery is likely to invalidate your warranty.
10. We will inspect and verify all goods returned to us as faulty, and we may seek an opinion from the manufacturer.
In some cases it may take up to 14 days to confirm a fault.
11. Where a manufacturing fault is confirmed, we will resolve the fault as follows:
• Within 30 days of purchase, you may choose an exchange or refund.
• Within 6 months of purchase, we will seek to repair a fault, but if this is unsuccessful we may replace the
product or issue a refund.
• After 6 months of purchase, we will assist you in repairing the item under the manufacturer’s warranty,
where applicable.
12. In all cases, no refund will be processed until the returned goods have been received by us and we have confirmed
a fault.
13. If we are unable to find a fault we reserve the right to charge a £10 handling fee to return the goods to you.
14. Faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear are not covered, and in such cases no refund
will be issued.
