INTRODUCTION

The industrial visit to UNIBIC manufacturing unit was very eventful. It was 4 th day of the
September month in the year 2019. All the first year students of BBA were eagerly waiting for
the visit to UNIBIC manufacturing plant. All were uniformly dressed and headed towards the
company. The students and the faculty were welcomed by employee of unibic company.
“UNIBIC FOODS INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED”, which is one of the youngest company which
manufacturer’s and sells the different flavored cookies in India and all around the world. The
company is located in Tumkur road Bangalore. The company Unibic Biscuits India Private
Limited was started in the year 2004 as subsidiary of Unibic Australia and later became the
subsidiary of peepul capital fund III LLC, Mauritius company and thus was renamed as “Unibic
Foods India Private Limited”.
The company started operations in march 2005 importing two cookies brands, Anzac (Oatmeal) and
Bradman (Chocolate chip), from Unibic Australia. By late 2005, its manufacturing unit in India was up
and running
