B. Performance Standard – The learner creates artworks showing the characteristic elements of
the Japanese Art.

2. Appreciate by identifying the different types and forms of Origami;
3. Create an Origami Art of Japan through Paper Crane Origami.

a. The teacher gives a quick recap about the Music of Japan.
• Definition of Origami.
• Origin of Origami.
• Origami documentation.
• Types of Origami.
• Different Origami art forms.
• Amazing facts of Origami.
b. The teacher gives points for those students who answered the
questions correctly.
B. Presentation
1. Lesson Proper
a. The students will prepare their activity notebooks for a quiz.
b. The teacher starts to demonstrate the procedure on how to create a
Paper Crane Origami.
 The students will prepare their art materials.
C. Practice
1. Application
a. The teacher introduces the individual activity called “PAPER CRANE
ORIGAMI”.
 Each student should prepare a Construction Paper or Colored
Paper. (Any color)
 The students must follow the step by step patterns that being
displayed on the TV on how to make a Paper Crane Origami.
 The teacher will only give 45 minutes to do the activity.
2. Valuing
The teacher asks the students the following questions:
 What makes Origami an interesting hobby to explore?

3. Generalization
The teacher will give his conclusion about the lesson.

8-12. Give the 5 different Origami art forms.
13-15. Give at least 3 types of Origami.

VI. Assignment
Prepare yourselves and bring art materials for our activity.
