The Urdu poet Iqbal, musing about the mystical secret of India’s survival through
millennia of bloody invasions, says:

“Yunan o Mishr Ruma Mitgaye Jahan Se,

Par Tab Tak Hai Baki Namo Nishan Hamara |
Kuch Baat Hai Hum Hain ki Hasti Mitathi Nahin Hamari,
Sadiyon Raha Hai Dushman Dauri Zamana Hamara ||”

While ancient cultures like Greece, Rome and Egypt have been wiped out, why is it
that India survives? Not only survives, seems to be thriving yet on many counts. And
this despite many forces trying to tear us apart – from terrorists & Maoists who want
to bomb us out of existence to corrupt politicians and selfish, indifferent citizens who
care a damn about India’s future.

A leading nationalist thinker once commented that it is only God’s grace which still
keeps India’s civilizational unity intact. But how long can this invisible hand of God
sail us through the present crisis if we continue to deliberately turn a blind eye to the
dangers which are staring us in the face?

Breaking India makes you sit up and think, it jolts you out of the ‘Satyameva Jayate’
complacency syndrome that many Hindus suffer from. Confronted with the most
obvious and glaring facts about the threats to their religion, the average Hindu today
responds with squeamish reluctance to accept these facts or understand their
implications and take corrective measures. These issues are best left for politicians to
discuss, seems to be the common attitude or is it a deep rooted fear of what they do
not wish to confront?

Unfortunately, there have been too many conspiracy theories put out by overzealous
Hindu activists denting the credibility of even genuine cases, akin to the Indian folk
story in which the mischievous child who loses his precious herd after sending out
false alarms about a tiger on the prowl.

However, even a vehement critic cannot simply dismiss this work as yet another
conspiracy theory. How can one ignore the massive 60 page bibliography which is
indicative of the amount of research and analysis that has gone into this work.

The authors build up a definite case for their contention that Western academicians
and political, religious and economic lobbies are going to great lengths to fulfil an
agenda which converges on the common goal of disintegrating India with the hope of
weakening or destroying the cultural and social framework of Sanatana Dharma.

The authors systematically unravel the ideology, the machinery and the modus
operandi of these anti-India and anti-Hindu forces. The book highlights the key
players of this plot: Who are the individuals and institutions behind this sinister plan?
What are their sources of funding? What is their methodology? What is their ultimate
goal?

The crux of their argument is that the power centres of western civilization and
Christianity are actively exploiting the fault lines within Hindu society. These fault
lines were originally the creation of the same hostile forces which lodged themselves
deeply in India during the colonial rule.

The problem is that while it is easy to identify and recognize an enemy who is
forthright in his intentions, it is difficult to do so when the enemy disguises his
motives in the garb of service, religious freedom, human rights, subaltern studies,
Dalit emancipation and a host of other devious fronts which have been developed
assiduously by the ‘Break India’ industry.

This book is a wake-up call for every Indian to think deeply about the future of India
and stand up to these threats, within and without, so that we may allow our future
generations to benefit from the fountain of eternal wisdom that is Sanatana Dharma.
