TEMPERED GLASS 

Abe tempered glass is heat-treated (full

tempered) strengthened glass, by

heating ordinary float glass to the

softening point (up to 720° C) and then

quenching it by a uniform blast of air

evenly onto both surfaces.

This extra procedure is done to it to

make it 4 to 5 times stronger.

The glass under goes a physical change

in its structure without affecting its

visual appearance.

When broken, ABE Tempered Glass

breaks into small and fine particles to

prevent serious injuries.

That is why Tempered Glass is also

called Safety Glass.

As Abe tempered glass is well balanced

in tension and compression stress, it

cannot be cut, polished, hole or
