DESIGN YOUR OWN

TODAY WE’RE GOING TO MAKE OUR OWN DESIGNS FOR


POKEMON USING SPRITES!

SPRITE - a computer graphic which may be moved on-screen and


otherwise manipulated as a single entity.

To do this we are going to need to go on to…

Step 5 Now you can redraw parts of the sprite in the new frame. On the right hand
side of the screen you’ll see that your images are now being animated.

Step 6 If you are zooming ahead, you can even adjust the opacity (how see-through
the colours are) on an image giving it special effects.

To do this you need to add a new layer by pressing


the plus button on the right hand side of the screen.

Then clicking on the layer opacity setting and


choosing a value between 0 and 1. For example 0.1
will be almost invisible whilst 0.5 will only be half see
through.
