Drew Blevins, the vice president of media relations and play-by-play broadcaster

for the Thunderbirds, will host. “I’m excited to have another avenue to be a

positive vocal presence for the team,” says Blevins.

The Labatt Coach’s Show will air live on the flagship station WTOB

980am/96.1fm. The team’s YouTube channel Thunderbirds TV will be

livestreaming the event as well.

The live show will provide fans a great new way to ask questions of the

Thunderbird coaches and players. “We are very excited to have a partnership

with the Carolina Ale House. Keeping the show in a well-known location week

after week will keep fans coming back for a chance to ask the coach questions and

see the team up close,” Milliken says.

Carolina Ale House’s long history with hockey inspired the partnership.

“Carolina Ale House already has a great relationship with NHL’s Carolina

Hurricanes and now we’re excited to have them have a relationship with the

Thunderbirds,” Milliken explains. This location can help turn Carolina Hurricane

fans into Carolina Thunderbird fans.
