It may go down and cause injusies to your hands. : A Deactivated B Activated 1818084-02 1 Function Description Pneumatic Change-over Valve 1.2.1 Activated valve The valve actuator is pressureized by compressed air (1). The diaphragm (2) and piston rod (4) are pressed downwards and opens the valve for flow straight through. 1.2.2 Deactivated valve When the valve actuator is depressurized to atmospheric pressure, the diaphragm is puched up by the spring (3), the piston rod (4) moves up and closes the valve for straight 3 Airinlet through flow and opens for flow through the 3 Sorng bottom valve port. 4 Piston rod / Stem 2 1818084-02 2 Fault Finding Fault Probable cause Remedy No change-over or sluggish | Diaph, ragm broken. Fitnew Glaphragm Sreraton of Be change Ot | i xipoly wadoqusto. Examine the solenoid valve block (air) and the air supply line, and correct the fault. Air pressure too low. ‘Adjust the air pressure. Air leakage. Fit a new seal. 1818084.02 2 Fault Finding Pneumatic Change-over Valve 4 te16084-02 3 Maintenance : A CAUTION Burn hazard Shut off the process oil before dismantling and repair. The oil may be hot and cause burn injuries. NOTE Make sure air pressure is released before dismantling. 3.1. Replacement of Diaphragm ~~ 1.
