1) Scotland had no king. The old king died without a son or daughter. The English king wanted
to choose a new king for Scotland. The Scottish nobles wanted to choose their ruler. So
there was war.
2) When Malcom, John and William arrived at the Mc Andrews farm everything was quiet.
They enter and saw thirty nobles and thirty boy tied by the neck. That was an English
ambush.
3) Malcom Wallace wan an strong and brave man who wanted Scots to rule Scotland. He had
two sons, John and William. He had blue eyes. Malcom’s wife died when William was born.
4) They travelled to attack the English. William stayed at home. Night came. His father and
brother did not return. But they returned the next morning, dead.
5) A little girl of five with red hair came towards him and handed William a flower – the
purple flower of Scotland. Their eyes met and then the girl walked back to her mother.
6) He went to live with uncle Argyle, who did not had wife or children. He taught William to
use his brain and his sword.
7) It was an old rule where a girl who lives on a noble’s land must spent her wedding night
with the noble of the land, not with her husband.
8) He decided to invite her for a ride in the evening and some weeks later they married
secretly.
9) Days after their wedding they were at the market day, and one of the soldier tried to rape
Murron. But William save her and told her to take a horse and ride to their group of trees.
But Murron did not scape. She fell from her horse and the soldiers caught her. Hesselrig
took Murron and cut her throat.
10) After knew who was Murrons murderer he went outside took his horse and ride to
Hesselrig followed by crowd of rebels. He was not afraid and ready to kill. Wallace wild
 eyes looked at the face of Murron’s murderer, took his sword and cut Hesselrig’s throat in
one movement. He knew he would fight as a rebel from that day until he died
11) I’ll describe the battle of June, the one that for the first time they used the long spears. The
Scotish nobles were on a little hill waiting for the English army.
12) William met the French princess, Isabella, when she was sent to make an offer of land and
money from the king. She helped William when the king wanted to made an ambush and
the princess knowing about the story of the Mc Andrwes fam offered the same fam. With
that she told William that was going to happen it wasn’t truce but an ambush. So he could
kill all the English soldiers.
13) The Battle of Falkirk was one of the last battles. There was a lot of English men and not
that much Scottish men. There was no Scottish nobles but Mornay. Robert the Bruce did
not come. The battle started and Wallace ordered Mornay to attack the foot soldiers
before they could shoot again. Mornay did not attack. He and his nobles men turn and
leave the battle. In that moment William felt helpless. The battle continues. They ran
screaming owards the English. The battle was long and hard. Soldiers on both sides fougth
bravely. But there were too many English. The English horsemen attacked again. Wallace
saw them coming. He pulled the first rider to the ground. It was Robert the Bruce, fighting
for the English. In that second William realize that there was no hope for Scotland.
