AADHAAR Based National Academic Depository (NAD) Registration Steps by Step procedure:

Step 1: Go to https://nad.ndml.in/NAD/newStudentRegistrationScreen.html

Step 2: From the above screen click “Click here” link in “To Generate Aadhaar Paperless Offline
e-KYC data”. Then the new window will be open as shown below.
Step 3: From the above screen enter Aadhaar Number and Security Code and click “Send OTP”
button. Then the following screen will be shown.

Step 4: From the above screen enter 4 digit share code and it should be remembered to
unlock the zip file and enter 6 digit OTP received by the mobile phone registered with the above
Aadhaar Number. The click the “Download” button. The sample screen shown below.

Step 5: Now the zip file will be downloaded and save.

Step 6: Go to https://nad.ndml.in/NAD/newStudentRegistrationScreen.html

Step 7: From the above screen click “Upload” button. Then select the saved zip file to upload.
Enter 4 digit share code and enter the text shown in the image. Enable the check box “ I
willingly submit my Aadhaar record and give an electronic consent and authorization to NSDL
Database Management Limited”. Finally click “SUBMIT” button.
Step 8: Then the following screen will be shown with your personal details. Personal details
cannot be edited.

Step 8: In the same screen scroll down to enter Additional details like Father name, Mother
name, Mobile number and email ID. Then proved the details by selecting Academic Institution
Type as “University”, State as “Tamilnadu”, Name of the Academic Institution as “Anna
University” and then enter Program/Course name as “BE” or “BTech” or “ME” or “MTech”, or
“BSc” or “MSc” or “MBA” or “MCA”, year of joining, Roll Number, College Name/School Name as
“Kongu Engineering College”.
Step 9: From the below screen create your User ID and User Password. You should remember
the User ID and password for future reference. The enable the check box “I agree to the Terms &
Conditions”. Then click the “SUBMIT” button.

Step 10: Then the below screen will be shown. Then enter the OTP received by your Aadhaar
registered Mobile. Finally click “COMPLETE REGISTRATION” button.
Step 11: After clicking “COMPLETE REGISTRATION” button the below screen will be shown
with your registration details. From the below screen click “PRINT” button to save your details
in pdf format or to print the details with
