1 Davao City ID required among public utility The City Transportation and Traffic Management Office has required all LGU Sunstar Davao

limits. Dionisio Abude, chief of the CTTMO warned that they will start
arresting PUJ and taxi drivers who cannot show proper identification
cards in April 2018.

2 Davao City Lumad group wants Ipra in
Charter change
The Lumad Husay Mindanao (LHM), a convergence of three major NCIP Sun Star Davao
Indigenous People's network in Mindanao, are pushing for the Congress
inclusion of the Indigenous Peoples Rights Act (Ipra) in the Charter
change. Among the recommendations of the team is to secure the
rights of the IPs on their ancestral domain.

3 Davao del Soldier injured in Davao del Soldier was injured in a gun battle with members of the New AFP Sun Star Davao
Sur Sur gun battle People's Army (NPA) on March 5 in Sitio Gurem, Barangay LGU
Sibulan, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur, where the rebels reportedly held
a mass gathering as part of their upcoming anniversary on March
29. The troops from the 39th IB were on an advantage position, thus
they were able to suppress the enemy. The firefight only lasted for
almost 45 minutes. The enemy then withdrew.
