ACTIVITY: ILLUSTRATE THE PROCESS OF MITOSIS AND MEIOSIS

OBJECTIVE
 Multicellular organisms begin as a single cell. In this activity, the students will be able to
explore how a cell reproduces through the process of Mitosis and Meiosis to form two
daughter cells and gametes.

READ AND STRICTLY FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS:

1. This is a group work (refer to your group in Gen. Bio 1 Lab).

2. Illustrate the process of Mitosis and Meiosis on a long bond paper (One (1) LONG BOND
PAPER FOR MITOSIS AND ONE (1) LONG BOND PAPER FOR MEIOSIS).

3. The presentation should occupy AT LEAST 1/2 portion of the long bond paper.

4. Use 2D presentation ONLY.

5. Color your presentation (black and white is NOT ALLOWED).

6. Printed outline is NOT ALLOWED.

7. Print two copies of the rubric form (1 rubric form for Mitosis and 1 rubric form for
meiosis). Fill out the rubric forms. Submit the rubric forms on the said deadline. Compile
the rubric forms in a long brown envelope. ONE (1) long brown envelope ONLY for the
WHOLE CLASS. Five points deduction from the total scores for NO RUBRIC FORM.

8. Write your section, group number, complete name of all the members of the group and
date of submission on EACH of the bond paper.

9. Date of submission is on OCTOBER 2, 2019 (until 4pm only).
