Introduction

So, you’ve been thinking about starting your own ecommerce business. That’s great!

Running your own store, you easily pave the way to your financial freedom thanks to the
time-tested efficiency of this business model. Just imagine: the world’s largest retailers
such as Zappos or Sears, and one of the most valuable public company – Amazon, once
were started as small ecommerce websites.

Now how do you think: wouldn’t it be awesome to open your own ecommerce store for
free?

I know! Sounds like an offer one can’t refuse. And believe me, it’s really quite simple.

Thank you for downloading this guide. Here I’m going to walk you through a free way of
creating an ecommerce website filled with the best selling products. From top to bottom
I’m going to cover everything you need to know to launch your own store working with
AliExpress marketplace and the dropshipping model.

Stay with me. It’s okay if you are not familiar with these words.

That’s a lot of jargon, I know, but don’t worry, we’re going to break it all down piece by
piece, and if you stick with this guide to the end, you’ll know exactly what dropshipping is,
how this ecommerce model works, and, of course, I’ll show you how to create a webstore
from scratch packed with best selling products and ready to take customers.

Let’s begin!

3
1

What is dropshipping
and how does it work

4
Now for those of you who don’t know what dropshipping business is, let me explain it
very quickly.

Dropshipping is a business model where store owners can sell products without actually
creating, manufacturing or stocking the products themselves. Let’s take a minute to look
at how it works.

Here we have the dropshipping business model. There’s the customer on the left, your
store in the middle and the supplier on the right.

So, step one: the customer comes to your store and, let’s say, he or she spends $200,
which is the price of the product at your own store. You then take that order placed by
the customer, and forward it to your supplier.

5
The original product cost set by the supplier is $150. So, you generate $200 from the price
that you’re charging at your store, and then you pay $150 to the supplier who actually
makes the product. You keep these extra $50, and the supplier ships the product directly
to your customer.

You, the store owner, are skipped in the shipping process. The product goes straight to
the person who bought it without you ever touching it.

Your profit is the difference between what you charged the customer and the price
the supplier charges you.

It’s the absolutely perfect way to start a business because:

• You’re never carrying inventory and you have no inventory costs which generally
are the most substantial costs for a new ecommerce business

• You don’t actually purchase your inventory upfront, so you aren’t taking the risk of
having the items you can’t sell

• Your supplier will take on the tasks of packing and shipping your products for you, so
you can manage your business from anywhere in the world

6

Where to find suppliers

and products to add to
your store

7
I recommend you to go to AliExpress or DropshipMe.

AliExpress is one of the largest ecommerce platforms in the world and it is perfectly
designed to connect suppliers and buyers from across the globe. And DropshipMe is a
catalog of best selling AliExpress products. So rather than having to browse through the
millions of products at AliExpress.com, you can browse the curated selection. I’m going
to tell more about DropshipMe in one of the chapters below.

Now without going too deep, here are the main advantages of AliExpress and
DropshipMe that make them just the perfect platforms to source products for your store
when starting a dropshipping business:

• You can start immediately and for free. You don’t even need to contact the supplier
when starting

• You have an instant access to millions of products

• Products are offered for a very low price and can be purchased in single pieces

• You control your own margins and decide your retail price (while using other
wholesalers, you may be bound to their suggested retail price)

• Suppliers ship products worldwide for free

AliExpress dropshipping works similarly to the dropshipping method I’ve described

before. You copy the product from AliExpress to your store, set your own prices, and after
you sell a product, you purchase it from AliExpress and have it shipped directly to your
customer.

I hope that is clear for now, but if you still don’t understand something or have
some doubts, don’t worry, once we start creating the webstore, you’ll understand
everything in a much better way.

Quick overview:
Things that you’ll need
to make your own
webstore

9
Getting your free dropshipping store is easy and requires the following things.

Please, don’t rush and don’t download them right now, further I’ll show it step by step
how to combine these tools to create an ecommerce website.

For now, I just want you to know what exactly we’ll be using in this tutorial and ensure
you that all of the software that you need to get started does not cost anything.

WordPress is a free and, probably, the easiest website creation tool in existence today.
Many famous blogs, news outlets, ecommerce websites, Fortune 500 companies and
celebrities are using WordPress.

WooCommerce is a free tool that adds the ecommerce functionality to your WordPress
website so you can have a fully functional online store.

This tool is free, too. It enables you to import the best products from AliExpress into
your WooCommerce store. All of the DropshipMe products have a proven track record
of sales, great ratings and professionally pre-edited product details such as titles,
descriptions, images, variants, etc.

account

PayPal is the easiest solution for small merchants that allows accepting online
payments. Registration at PayPal.com is free and takes about 5 minutes.

account

You’ll need this to forward orders to AliExpress suppliers after a sale happens in your own
store. Registration is free.

10
Again, all the things above are 100% free to download and use.

This set of tools is a huge money saver and lets anyone get their own webstores up
and running in the most cost-efficient way possible.

However, this doesn’t mean that your business will have zero expenses at all. Here are
the expenses that you may still incur:

• Domain name – cost starting at $0.95 dollars per year

• Web hosting – cost starting at $3.95 dollars per month

You need these things for any website, this is just how the Internet works.

A domain name is simply the name of your website, for example, amazon.com,
youtube.com or yourstore.com – all these are different domain names – something that
a person will type in their browser to reach your website.

And hosting is where you store all your website files so people can access it all around
the world at any time 24/7.

Getting these two things is our further step, so let’s finally move on to making your own
ecommerce website.

Getting the domain

name & hosting

12
1. Go to https://www.hostgator.com/web-hosting

This is where we’re going to get your domain name and hosting. HostGator is a global
and very reliable provider of web hosting and related services.

Here you can see different web hosting plans available. I personally recommend
choosing the Baby Plan. It's much cheaper than the Business Plan, but you still can host
unlimited domains here unlike the Hatchling Plan.

13
2. Click on the ’Buy Now’ button under the Baby plan
option

3. Enter your domain name

Now on the page you’ve landed, first thing for you is to think of and enter your domain
name (the name of your website).

Choose your domain carefully because it's going to represent your store. Try to choose a
professional and relevant domain name.

For example, in this tutorial I'm going to make a niche specific store and sell, let's say,
rings and earrings. So, as my domain name, I'll choose ‘thebestrings’.

14
Also, it is preferable to select ‘.com’ domains (see it next to your domain on the right) as
they are considered to be more trustworthy. But in fact, it's not necessary, and you can
choose another zone (.club, .site, .net) not so popular, but for a lower price.

If someone already owns a domain name you enter (it often happens), and you cannot
use it, the cross will come up on the right, which means you should select a different
option from the list below, or think of variations, or change your name.

If a domain name you enter is available, it will come up with a green tick on the right.

As you can see, ‘thebestrings’ is available in different zones, even .com is available (and
preferable). But I’ll choose thebestrings.site because I’ll use it for tutorial only and I’ll
better leave thebestrings.com (which is actually a great domain!) for someone who
wants it for a real store.

Okay, let’s scroll down.

15
Under the domains list you’ve got the Domain Privacy Protection

That basically hides your personal contact information online, so people can’t actually
know who owns a website. It depends on whether you prefer to hide your information or
not. For now, I’m just going to leave it without a tick.

4. Scroll down and choose a hosting plan

I already have the Baby Package Type.

For the Billing Cycle, the longer period you select, the more money you’re going to save.
Again, for this tutorial I’m going to select 1 month, but for your real store I’d recommend
selecting a 12 months period.

Next, enter your Username and Security PIN. These things are your account data, it is
important as it will help verify your account ownership.

16
5. Scroll down and enter your billing information

Enter all the required information. You can pay with Credit Card or PayPal.

17
6. Select right additional services

When you fill your billing info, scroll down to the ‘Add Additional Services’ section.

Make sure ‘HTTPS:// Free SSL Certificate’ is checked. It could be included for free (as on
the screenshot above), but if not, please put a tick here to make your upcoming website
secure, it’s important.

And uncheck everything else for now. You can set up all these things later and for free.

18
7. Agree to HostGator’s Terms of Service and make a
purchase

Scroll to the end, put a tick to agree to HostGator’s Terms of Service and then click on
‘Checkout Now’ button.

Once you’ve purchased your domain name and hosting, you’ll get an email that looks
something like this, which means you’re doing everything right.

Okay, that was the only investment needed. Every piece of software that we’ll be using
further is 100% free to download and use.

Now you might need to take a short break and wait about 15-20 minutes before
attempting to log in to your account. HostGator need this time to set up your website on
their end.

No actions are required from you right now, just wait about 15-20 minutes and then
continue with this tutorial to get your webstore into the best shape.

19

Installing WordPress
in the easiest way

20
1. Log into your hosting Control Panel

To do this, open the email you’ve received from HostGator, the one with the theme

HostGator.com :: Your Account Info.

Here you can see your Control Panel URL, your Username and your Password

Click on the Your Control Panel URL. This will take you to your Control Panel log in page.

Copy and paste your Username and your Password from the email here and click on
‘Log In’ button

21
2. In your Control Panel click on ‘Build a New WordPress
Site’

3. Select your Domain for installation

Just pick your domain from the dropdown menu and click on ‘Next’ button.

4. Enter the information and install WordPress

Quickly enter the info in all the fields: your Website Title, your Admin Username, your

22
Name and your Admin Email.

Put a tick next to Terms of Service Agreement and then click on ‘Install’ button.

After a few seconds you’ll see an Installation Complete message and you’ll receive your
WordPress credentials.

Important: Copy and save your WordPress Username and Password pair. You need
this to manage your website.

23
5. Log into your WordPress dashboard using your
Username and Password

To access the WordPress dashboard, open a new browser tab, type your domain
name where you’ve just installed WordPress and simply add /wp-admin to the end. For
example, in my case I type thebestrings.site/wp-admin

This will take you to this page:

Paste your WordPress Username and Password pair and click on ‘Log In’ button.

24
Once you log in you will see your WordPress dashboard.

And yes, that means you have your own website now! Congrats!

But don’t stop here, we’re going to create a beautiful website, so next we need to
change the standard design theme.

Let’s continue.

25
6

Installing a beautifully
designed ecommerce
theme

26
1. In the left menu in your Dashboard, hover on
‘Appearance’ and then click on ‘Themes’

Now you can see several themes already installed on your store, but you need one
another design theme that is more suitable for an ecommerce website.

2. Click on the ‘Upload’ (or it might be ‘Add New’) button

at the top of the Themes page

3. Then, type ‘oceanwp’ in the ‘Search themes...’ bar on

the Add Themes page

The design theme we’re going to use will appear below. OceanWP is a free WordPress
theme that makes it extremely easy to create beautiful websites.

27
Tip: There are actually numerous amazing and free ecommerce themes. You
can google and try finding the one that requires the least changes to make it
look like you want.

4. Hover on the theme and click on the ‘Install’ button

28
5. After the theme is installed, click on the ‘Activate’
button

6. Install the plugins recommended by the theme

After activating the theme, you’ll see this notification at the top of the page:

‘This theme recommends the following plugins: Elementor and Ocean Extra…’

Simply click on ‘Begin installing plugins’, it is needed for the theme to work correctly

The next step for you is to select all the plugins – simply put a tick next to each of them.

Then, click on the ‘Bulk Actions’ menu, click on the ‘Install’ option in the dropdown menu
and click on the ‘Apply’ button.

29
Well just right now, you did a great thing!

You actually changed the appearance of your website to make it more ecommerce
friendly, and you installed the required plugins to make the design theme work in the
proper way.

Again, if you’re new to WordPress and you don't know what a plugin is, a plugin is a kind
of software that adds some extra functionality to your website.

And now you’re going to make your website even more ecommerce friendly, so you
need to install some more plugins.

Let’s move on to making your webstore secure for payments.

30
7

Integrating SSL to make

your webstore secure

31
As you remember, we’ve purchased SSL Certificate with hosting, so now we need to
activate it.

1. In the left menu in your Dashboard hover on ‘Plugins’

and then click on ‘Add New’

2. Type ‘https’ in the ‘Search plugins…’ bar on the Add

Plugins page

Several plugins will appear below. But you need the one called Really Simple SSL by
Rogier Lankhorst and Mark Wolters.

32
3. Hover on that plugin and click on the ‘Install Now’
button

4. After Really Simple SSL plugin is installed, click on the

‘Activate’ button

5. Under the ‘Almost ready to migrate to SSL!’ part, click

on the ‘Go ahead, activate SSL!’ button

33
6. In the left menu in your Dashboard hover on ‘Settings’
and then click on ‘SSL’

7. Re-log in to your website

You’ll be asked to enter your Username and Password pair. So, enter it and click on
‘Log In’ button.

Once you re-log in to your WordPress dashboard, you will see your website is now
secure.

Great! This padlock will show your webstore’s visitors that you take their privacy seriously
and help you gain their valuable trust.

Next step is to install a very important plugin called WooCommerce.

This plugin is free and it will add all these product pages, add to cart and checkout
features to your website, actually turning it into a real webstore.

34
8

Setting up
WooCommerce plugin:
no coding skills required

35
1. In the left menu in your Dashboard hover on ‘Plugins’
and then click on ‘Add New’

2. Then, type ‘woocommerce’ in the ‘Search plugins...’

bar on the Add Plugins page

Several plugins will appear below. But you need the very first one – WooCommerce By
Automattic.

3. Hover on that plugin and click on the ‘Install Now’

button

36
4. After WooCommerce is installed, click on the ‘Activate’
button

After activation, you should be automatically forwarded to WooCommerce Setup

Wizard page like this:

37
If you see this page, just go straight to the next section – 5. Quickly configure your
store in the WooCommerce Setup Wizard

If it’s not the case, if you don’t see this page right now, don’t worry, it happens. Just
read further and don’t skip anything. Here is what to do.

4.1. In the left menu in your Dashboard click on ‘WooCommerce’

4.2. In the top right corner, click on the ‘Help’ tab (next to the ‘Screen
Options’ tab)

38
4.3. In the window that appears, find the ‘Setup Wizard’ tab on the left,
click on it and then click on the ‘Setup Wizard’ button in the center

Now you can continue with the Setup Wizard.

5. Quickly configure your store in the WooCommerce

Setup Wizard

5.1. Store setup

The first step here is to specify the location of your store. You can either enter the actual
information about your country and city, or, for now, you can just copy this sample data:

Where is your store based?: United States (US)

Address: 645 Las Palmas Ave
Address line 2:
City: Los Angeles
State: California
Postcode / ZIP: 90004

39
Also, under What currency do you accept payments in?, select United States (US)
dollar ($ / USD)

Then, scroll down and click on the ‘Let’s go!’ button.

40
5.2. Payment

Here you can configure which payment methods you want to accept in your webstore,
i.e. how you want to be paid.

If you don’t know much about payment gateways, I’d recommend you to deselect
everything you see except PayPal, which is really easy to use for beginners.

So, in my case, I’m going to deselect Stripe and leave PayPal selected. Also, I’m going to
type in my PayPal email address below – partners@dropship.me

You should do the same, type in your PayPal email address if you already have one. If
you don’t have a PayPal account, you can get it here: get your free PayPal account.

Then, scroll down and click on the ‘Continue’ button.

41
5.3. Shipping

In Shipping, you simply have to deselect all these shipping zones and methods, because
you’re not going to be a part of the shipping process. AliExpress suppliers will do all these
things for you and you don’t have to worry about this.

Also, deselect Print shipping labels at home.

But for the units of weight and dimensions, you should select kilograms and
centimeters because these units are used by AliExpress suppliers.

42
After it’s done, click on the ‘Continue’ button.

5.4. Recommended

Here you simply need to deselect all the recommended plugins. You don’t need them
right now, and besides, all that can be easily installed later.

So, deselect everything and click on the ‘Continue’ button.

43
5.5. Activate

Here, you are suggested to connect your store to Jetpack. Without going too deep,
Jetpack is a plugin you don’t need now.

So, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on ‘Skip this step’.

5.6. Ready!

Basically, that’s it with setting up your WooCommerce plugin. So, on this step, just scroll
to the bottom of the page and click on the ‘Visit Dashboard’ button to simply finish and
get back to your webstore dashboard.

44
Well, you’ve done a very important thing just now!

You’ve set up the WooCommerce, which means you’ve added the necessary
ecommerce functionality to your website. You’ve also selected the currency and the
payment system. Obviously, we'll have to configure the payment system later on, but
first, let’s start importing the actual products to your store.

Let me show you the most important step now.

45
9

Installing a very special

DropshipMe plugin

46
Now, I’m going to tell you the secret of lifelong ecommerce success.

Well, it’s all about the products you sell.

Sorry if it was too obvious, but it’s really hard to overestimate the importance of product
choice for your ecommerce profit.

And that’s when DropshipMe comes into play.

This is the first plugin here in our guide that was created especially for dropshipping
business, and what this particular plugin does is enables you to easily import the best
AliExpress products into your WooCommerce store.

To put it really simply, DropshipMe is a database of the proven AliExpress bestsellers

across all the existing product categories. Using DropshipMe, you don’t need to wander
searching for the products – the winning ones are already found and gathered for you
in one place.

DropshipMe plugin is a huge time saver for you and it’s free, so let’s just add it to your
webstore right now.

1. Go to https://dropship.me

This is an official website of DropshipMe plugin. Here you can watch the short video
about this plugin (highly recommended) and, of course, get your free copy.

47
2. Click on the ‘Start Now. It’s Free!’ button

3. Enter your email and click on the ‘Get My Plugin Now’

button

4. Click on the ‘Not Now, I Want Free DropshipMe Plugin

Only’ button

On that page you are suggested to learn more about another plugin from the
developers. Basically, you don’t need this second plugin right now.

48
So, click on the ‘Not Now, I Want Free DropshipMe Plugin Only’ button to continue.

5. Click on the ‘Download Plugin’ button

Download the plugin on your computer and copy Your API key to your clipboard, you’ll
need this soon to activate your DropshipMe plugin.

49
6. Now go back to your WordPress dashboard and, in the
left menu, hover on ‘Plugins’ and click on ‘Add New’

7. Click on the ‘Upload Plugin’ button at the top left

corner

50
8. Click on the ‘Choose File’ button in the window that
appears

9. Select the dropship-me.zip file you downloaded earlier

and then click on the ‘Install Now’ button

Look for the dropship-me.zip file in your Downloads folder and select it.

After you have selected the file, click on the ‘Install Now’ button to add it to your
webstore.

51
10. Wait for the installation to finish, then click on the
‘Activate Plugin’ button

11. In the left menu in your Dashboard click on ‘Dropship

Me’

52
12. Paste your API key and activate the plugin

Paste the API key you received when downloaded DropshipMe (you can also find your
API key in your inbox in the email themed ‘Thank you for choosing us!’).

Then click on ‘Activate’ button.

After the activation you immediately get 50 products on your balance.

53
And now you’re totally ready to start filling your store with proven best selling
products quickly and easily.

So am I, by the way. I’m going to add products to my store, so you’re going to see the
real process on my real example.

We’ll go through it together step by step and you’ll know exactly what to do.

54
10

Filling your store with

best selling products
using DropshipMe

55
So, now you have your free 50 DropshipMe products. It means you can add any 50
products from about 50,000 best selling AliExpress products selection to your store,
which is quite enough to start. Without further ado, let's do this.

By this moment, I hope you’ve already decided what you’re going to sell
in your webstore. If not, you can find awesome ideas here: a list of the best
niches for dropshipping handpicked for you.

1. In the left menu in your Dashboard hover on ‘Dropship

Me’ and then click on ‘Import Products’

Now you’re on the ‘Import Products’ page and this is where you can actually search,
browse and import products directly into your webstore.

Let’s take a minute to look at what we’ve got here.

56
First, here you can see various filters that can help you easily find relevant products
for your store. For example, you either can select a specific product category from a
dropdown menu or you can search for products entering keywords.

Second, of course, you can see the products you can easily import to your store.

57
Do you see the green ‘Import’ button next to every product? That’s right – in a single
click, you can add any of these items to your own store.

As you can also note, the plugin shows the original Supplier price and gives a
Recommended price to set up in your store for each item. So, if you don’t know what
price markup to choose, you can just go with the recommendations.

But, there’s something more to surprise you. Click on ‘View Details’ button (it’s the grey
‘hamburger’ button right next to the ‘Import’ button) of any product.

This is how products from DropshipMe database look like.

Look at the title of the product, its description and images. That’s what it’s all about
and that’s what makes DropshipMe plugin so special.

The plugin creators spend an incredible amount of time to manually edit each and
every product page in this database. The product titles are short and clear, the galleries

58
are filled with high quality images and the descriptions are not only informative, but
SEO-friendly as well.

If you’re familiar with AliExpress dropshipping, you certainly know how many long hours
this feature saves you. And if you’re not, let me explain it very quickly why this is so
important.

The thing is that titles and descriptions of the products on AliExpress.com website itself
are really weird – very long, auto translated and often just confusing.

For example, this is how the original product from the screenshot above looks like on
AliExpress.com:

Not very attractive, right?

You see, without DropshipMe it would be your task to edit titles, descriptions and images
of all the products you import to your store to make their product pages clean and
attractive for customers. And this is a really hard and very time-consuming work.

So, let’s just take a second to appreciate the fact we can forget about the product
editing nightmare with DropshipMe, and move on further to importing products.

59
2. Click on the ‘Import settings’ icon at the top of the
page (the blue one with a gear)

For the easiest start, click on ‘Create categories from DropshipMe’, then ‘Publish
products’ and ‘Import with recommended prices’ to switch them on.

Each time you’re going to import products to your store, make sure these things are
switched on.

3. Find products for your store in the catalog

As I already mentioned, I’m going to make a store selling women rings and earrings.

So, for my store, I’m going to click on ‘All Categories’ dropdown menu and then click on
‘Women Jewelry’ category.

60
After my page is updated, I’m going to click on ‘All Sub Categories’ dropdown menu
and then click on ‘Earrings’ subcategory.

61
Now I can see all the earrings available in the catalog and I can choose which ones
exactly I want to import to my store.

4. Choose the products you want to import

DropshipMe is filled with products that are guaranteed to see a high demand and bring
a nice revenue to the store owners. So, basically you can import any product you like
with confidence.

However, it’s a good idea to pay attention to the number of orders that a product has
and to the amount of reviews it has received.

For example, I like these ‘Romantic Shining Earrings’, so I’m going to click on their ‘View
Details’ button.

Now I can see these earrings have 388 orders, which is good, and what’s even better,
they have lots of 5-star reviews from real customers. Besides, I really like them, so I’m
going to import them to my store.

62
5. Import the chosen products to your store

Now, to add these ‘Romantic Shining Earrings’ to my store, I’m going to click on their
‘Import’ button.

63
That’s going to take a minute as images, description and all the variations as well will be
imported. A blue line above shows the progress of the import.

Once it reaches the end, the notification of a successful product import will appear, and
the status of the product will change to ‘Imported’.

And that’s pretty much it. Told you it’s going to be easy!

‘Romantic Shining Earrings’ are already in my store’s inventory. We’re going to check
their product page soon, but first, let’s choose and import more products.

6. Import even more products to your store

You can import products from DropshipMe one by one, as I’ve just described. Or you can
import them in bulk to fill your store even quicker.

For that purpose, simply start putting ticks next to the products you want to import.

64
For my store I’m going to mark, let’s say, another 10 earrings.

Now, to import all 10 products together, we simply need to click on the ‘Import selected’
button.

Be patient to wait for all the items to be imported . . .

Okay, I can see the status ‘Imported’ appeared for all my marked products. And now I
want to import rings to my store.

So, I’m going to click on subcategories menu again and change ‘Earrings’ subcategory
to ‘Rings’.

65
After the page is updated, I’m going to mark, let’s say, 10 rings, just as I did it with
earrings before.

And to import these 10 products together, again, I simply click on the ‘Import selected’
button and wait for the items to be imported.

66
Okay, I can see the status ‘Imported’ appeared for all the products I wanted.

That means now my store is filled with professionally selected and edited profit-
oriented products.

And so is yours webstore, I hope!

Continue browsing DropshipMe catalog and importing products until you have all
of your first 50 products.

7. Import product reviews

With the help of DropshipMe plugin, you can also import real customers’ product
reviews, which are essential for gaining your store visitors’ trust.

For that, in the left menu in your Dashboard under ‘Dropship Me’ click on ‘Import
Reviews’.

67
Leave the default settings, simply scroll down and click on the ‘Import’ button.

Now, you can see the reviews being importing. Just wait for the process to finish.

Okay, right now we just did another great step. We’ve filled the webstore with profit-
oriented products and also imported real customers’ reviews.

All in all, it means that our store inventory is ready. So, let’s go check it out.

Checking your beautiful

store pages

69
1. In the left menu in your Dashboard hover on ‘Pages’
and then click on ‘All Pages’

2. Find the ‘Shop Page’ option in the list and click on the
‘View’ link under it

Here you can see your ‘Shop Page’ and all the products you imported. This is how it
looks like for your customers as well.

And it’s great, isn’t it?

70
71
3. Click on any of the products

Now let’s click on any of the products to check the product page that real customer will
land on. Here it is in my store:

Well, it’s amazing, too!

Here, a customer will see great images, a clear title and a 5-star rating based on 16 real
reviews. This page definitely looks attractive to make a purchase.

And mind that the original supplier price of this product is only $2.60, which means
the profit will be $7.35!

Customizing and
tweaking your pages
quickly

73
Depending on the product niche you choose and simply on your personal preferences,
you may need to edit your store look, i.e. to customize your design theme.

WooCommerce and its design themes are non-programmer friendly. So, I’m going
to show you a couple of examples of how to edit your pages’ look just to help you
understand how it all works.

1. How to customize your Product Pages

So, maybe you want to change your product pages a little. Okay. Let’s take the page
from the previous screenshot as an example.

1.1. On any product page click on the ‘Customize’ link at the top of the
page

On the left, a panel will appear.

Let’s suppose that for my store I want to remove this sidebar from the page (I really
don’t need this sidebar).

74
1.2. On the left panel click on ‘WooCommerce’

75
1.3. Then click on ‘Single Product’ (because we’re changing the single
product page now)

1.4. In the ‘Layout’ click on the third option Full Width

76
You’ll immediately see how your page will look with this layout and without the sidebar.

If you scroll down, you can actually see it in the left panel that there’s a lot of things you
can easily change the way you like, for example, the image width or the color of the
price.

As for me, I just wanted to get rid of the sidebar and leave the rest as is, so I’m going to
scroll up in the left panel and click on ‘Publish’ button to save the changes.

Well, now my product pages look even better, and I’m going to close the ‘Customize’ tool
by clicking on the cross at the top left corner.

77
2. How to set your Shop Page as a Homepage

By the way, I haven’t created a Homepage yet, so until I do this, I’m going to set my Shop
Page as my Homepage and customize it a little. You can do the same.

2.1. In the left menu of your WordPress Dashboard hover on ‘Settings’

and then click on ‘Reading’

78
2.2. Switch to the ‘A static page’ option

2.3. Next to ‘Homepage:’, select the ‘Shop’ option from the menu

79
2.4. Scroll down to the end of the page and click on the ‘Save Changes’
button

2.5. Open a new browser tab and simply type your domain name there

For example, in my case, I simply type thebestrings.site

Now you can see your amazing products on your Homepage.

And we need to remove the sidebar from this page too.

80
2.6. On your current Homepage click on the ‘Customize’ link at the top
of the page

2.7. On the left panel click on ‘WooCommerce’

81
2.8. Then click on ‘Archives’

2.9. In the ‘Layout’ click on the third option: Full Width

And you’ll immediately see how your page will look with this layout and without the
sidebar.

82
2.10. Scroll up in the left panel and click on the ‘Publish’ button to save
the changes

2.11. Close the ‘Customize’ tool by clicking on the cross at the top left
corner

83
Now, open a new browser tab, simply type your domain name again and look at your
webstore. Looks really great!

And we’re going to stop here with tweaking your design.

Sure, there’s more work to be done, you have to update some of your texts, create your
full-fledged homepage and standard pages like ‘Returns Policy’, ‘Shipping & Delivery’,
‘Contact Us’, etc.

Some of this is not going to be like what we did in this tutorial and, of course, you’re
going to constantly learn new things on your way of quitting your 9 to 5.

But hey, at the same time, just now, you did an amazing job. So, to short recap:

• You set up a WooCommerce store

• You selected winning products to sell with DropshipMe
• You pushed those products from DropshipMe to your own store
• You made your store look and feel more like a real store

… and it all took not so much time.

Now a very important thing is still left, we haven’t configured the payment system yet.

Let’s better move on to this so you can accept payments on your website.

84
13

Configuring PayPal
payment system easily

85
1. In the left menu of your WordPress Dashboard hover
on ‘WooCommerce’ and then click on ‘Settings’

2. Go to the ‘Payments’ tab

3. Here we have to configure PayPal Checkout, so click on

the proper ‘Manage’ button

86
4. On the settings page scroll down to ‘API Credentials’
and click on the ‘click here to toggle manual API credential
input’ link

Now you have to enter your Live API Username, Live API Password and Live API
Signature

87
5. Now go here https://www.paypal.com/us/signin and
log in to your PayPal account

6. In your PayPal account, click on ‘Seller preferences’

on the left, under the ‘Selling tools’ section

7. Find the ‘API access’ line and click on its ‘Update’ link

8. Scroll down to the NVP/SOAP API integration section

and click on the ‘Manage API credentials’ link

88
9. Get your API Username, API Password and Signature
and enter it in your WordPress dashboard

Simply click on ‘Show’ links and copy and paste the details one by one here:

89
10. After you enter all these, scroll down and find the
‘Landing Page’ line, then make sure the ‘Billing (Non-
PayPal account)’ option is set up

11. Scroll to the end of the page and click on the ‘Save
changes’ button

All right, the Payments setting is all done.

90
Now you can accept payments in your webstore. Great!

How to manage your

enter your customer's name and shipping address while checking out.

the product prices as much as you want, and there is no limit to how much money you
