i was received ring for 2 monts ago, and to continue my research I need 20 rings again. 10 TLD and 10 OSL. then i wanna ask about TLD Cube
Manual TLD Reader for all TL applications. can TLD reader read ring and eyes dosimeter and other ? any diameter can be used ?

TLD Cube is a multi-purpose TLD reader.

It can read all standard TLD sizes and shapes, including TLD powder, up to 10 mm diameter.

The beta photon is slightly more expensive than the gamma ring.

It is using a mylar label as cover. The label is included in the ring. But it is also available as spare part, as the label can break easier than the ring.

But the main difference is the much more expensive TL detector.

With this ring a 2-layer detector is used.

It has a thick, unsensitive layer as carrier and a thin active layer. This active layer is of MCP instead MTS, to provide enough sensitivity.

The thin layer material is used to avoid an underestimation of beta compared to gamma.

If the numbers of the rings are not relevant, or you don’t need the numbers, the set up costs do not apply.
