MODERN ZOO

Zoos (often abbreviated as bonbin, from kebon animals) or wildlife parks are
where animals are kept in an artificial environment, and displayed to the public.
Apart from being a place of recreation, the zoo serves as a place of education,
research, and conservation sites for endangered species. Animals kept in zoos are
mostly animals that live on land, while water animals are kept in aquariums.

The zoo that allows visitors to enter by car or bus is called a safari park. Animals
are released in large and open areas, and are not confined in narrow cages, but are
limited by fences or trenches. Zoos are often equipped with children's zoos to
exhibit livestock or other immature and benign wildlife species to hold or feed,
