MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

Sangguniang Kabataan- Poblacion Damulog Bukidnon

1 Purpose
1.1 This Memorandum of Agreement (MoU) establishes an agreement between the Junior
Philippine Institute of Accountants – Central Mindanao University Local Chapter
(JPIA – CMU) and the Sannguniang Kabataan Barangay Poblacion, Municipality of
Damulog, Bukidnon.
1.2 This arrangement sets forth the partnership between the parties including their roles
and responsibilities as a part of their involvement in the socio-civic comprehensive
program initiated by JPIA-CMU, named “BAROG” which aims to conceive a project
that is attainable and sustainable within a five-year plan. It aspires to gradually develop
a community that could mitigate the existing problems and could further uphold the
purpose of this project.
2 Background
2.1 The partnership is geared towards addressing the evident societal problems in the
community and generating a livelihood program that would enable the community to
stand in their own.
3 Co-operation
3.1 The parties intend to actively maintain a co-operative relationship in order to enhance
the efficient and effective delivery of the program.
4 Access to and exchange of information
4.1 The parties intend that each will provide to the other, on request in writing, copies of
available information that might assist the other party to carry out its functions.
4.2 Each party will keep confidential any such information provided by the other party
and will not release it to any person other than members of its organization who need
to know the information for work purposes, except with the agreement of the owner
of the information or the written consent of the disclosing party.
5 Responsibilities of JPIA-CMU Local Chapter
5.1 Provide trainings/ workshops/seminars to address the evident concerns in the
community.
5.2 Provide assistance in identifying the prospective beneficiaries.
5.3 Provide manpower and resources in order to mobilize people needed to carry out the
activities.
 5.4 Ensure the turn-over of the project to the next administration.
5.5 Seek linkages to properly conduct the activities.
6 Responsibilities of Sangguniang Kabataan – Barangay Poblacion
6.1 Provide necessary information of the beneficiaries.
6.2 Provide support and assistance in the implementation of the activities.
6.3 Provide available manpower and resources to mobilize people needed to carry out the
activities and objectives.
6.4 Provide assistance in monitoring and evaluating the performance of the program.
6.5 Maintain complete and comprehensive records of the recipients.
6.6 Secure the safety of the facilitators upon the conduct of activities.
7 Duration
7.1 This MOU is at-will and may be modified by mutual consent of authorized officials
from JPIA-CMU Local Chapter and SK – Barangay Poblacion. This MOU shall
become effective upon signature by the authorized officials from the JPIA – CMU
Local Chapter and LGU – Barangay Poblacion and will remain in effect until modified
or terminated by any one of the partners by mutual consent.
In witness whereof, the partners have hereunto set their hands this 10th of August, 2018 at
Brgy. Poblacion, Damulog, Bukidnon.
