SUMMER LEAGUE 2022

I. Rationale of the Event:
Under the 9 pillars of youth development, sports activities are programs that need
to be focused and be implemented under the health pillar category as sports can
promote discipline, inculcate good social values, develop their skills, and promote active
lifetsyle. The Summer League consists of different sports activities mainly volleyball and
basketball that involves the youths of Damulog. The Philippine Councilors League
Damulog Chapter will sponsor in the said activities.

II. Objectives:
A. To achieve the mandate of the RA 10742 in promoting the youth’s social and physical
well-being.
B. To develop youth skills in different sports.
C. To inspire people to appreciate sports activities and avoid using illegal drugs and
other vices.
D. To inspire other youths to strive more in their endeavors.

III. Methodology:
The Summer League activities will be facilitated by assigned committee among the PCL
members. There will be authorized referees to manage the games and there will be
several categories. The games will be played at the Municipal Plaza and/or Municipal
Gymnasium. The budgetary requirement will be allotted only for prizes.
V. Budgetary Requirements: P100 ,000.00

Basketball CATEGORY A (35 Under)

1st prize 7,000.00

2nd prize 5,000.00

3rd prize 4,000.00

Basketball CATEGORY B (17 under)

1st prize 3,000.00

2nd prize 2,000.00

3rd prize 1,000.00

1st prize 1,500.00

2nd prize 1,000.00

Basketball Girls (35 Under)

1st prize 5,000.00

2nd prize 3,000.00
