Subject: Welcome to the most wonderful country in the world
Dear Darel Jackson
I am so excited to give a warm welcome to my dear country. My name is Cristhian Mora,
my family and I are very happy to share our house with you for the next four months.
I live with my mom and my girlfriend, Myriam and Ana, we don't know much about New
Zealand, so we really want to meet you to share a cultural literacy, which is why we
decided to enroll in this program.
We don't know much about New Zealand, only Haka, we know it's like a war dance, but
that's it, we really want to know more and how you live on one of the farthest islands in
the world, we imagine many things.
Do you want to know about my country? Well, first of all I want to tell you about our
people, who are hardworking and humble, and we have many rivers, did you know that
Colombia has moors that produce fresh water? no !! Well, when you have arrived we will
have a walk that will be directed by my girlfriend and many other things
The weather, we have several times, sunny, cloudy and rainy, there is no snow, but the
most common weather is sunny.
You can go to Cartagena and Santa Marta, which has the most beautiful beaches.
Festivals? Do you want to go to the carnivals? Well, we have the black and white carnival in
Pasto that is very cold because it is located on the Andes mountain.
You can use plane or bus, even a motorcycle.
Well, we hope you come as soon as possible.
