Business Background

The Hundred Acrewood started as a project of the College Students at their

Taxation subject. The company only consists of 9 members which became
the board members of the company as they started the business. The funds
and capital of the company was collected equally from the members since
the business is just starting.

a. Business Concept and Justification

The Hundred Acrewood noticed that most of the people are now
aware how trees and plants have a very big role in our world.
They are having a hard time finding on what ways they can help
on planting trees or plants. The members of the hundred
acrewood thought of some ways that will solve the students’
concern. They started a business by selling different types of
landscape plants that is very easy to plant out somewhere of your
house which does not require much space to grow. It takes only
a small space to plant and able to grow it. tree planting programs
can help to restore and improve your community and property by:
increasing property value and adding variety to your landscape,
helping to reduce greenhouse gasses and fight climate change ,
improving water quality in your streams and ponds , and
improving your outdoor recreational activities.
Business Goals: Vision, Mission, Objectives, Key Result Areas

 Vision – To be a well known group of students that can provide a help with the
environment to address the problem of climate change facing the world.
 Mission – Make some people life easier to find a way finding a trees or plants to
grow in a small amount of space in their homes. In this, it helps producing oxygen,
cool overheated urban areas, and other harmful gases.
 Objectives – To gain profit and soon expand the business and have other products.
