Its election time, the time where the student body will choose and support the next

leader of the school.

It aims to develop students into well- equipped leaders who can take their place responsibly in service of
the community. SPG is a school organization whose purpose is to train students to become a better
citizens in the future and to develop student’s skills and abilities in achieving quality education and
academic excellence through cooperative works among themselves in achieving their goal.

Last February 2019, the activities for SPG election took place. A total number of pupils from grade 3-6
participated on the said event. There were two participating parties aiming to be in the position they
desired. The screening in each position was held at Dagcutan’s classroom. The screening involved
interrogation of the selected pupils from grade 3 to six. Its mission is to test the determination and will
of the candidates in pursuing their goal of becoming the student leader of Lanton elementary School.

The following activities were religiously observed and materialized.

The students and school admin were well- presented in the school commission on elections
(COMELEC).
The students and school admin were knowledgeable and prepared for the conduct of Elections.
The students and the school admin were actively involved in organizing and running the election
procedures.
The students and school admin objectively performed their functions and remained nonpartisan
during the conduct of elections
The students were well-informed about the purpose of the Student Government elections
