It is my pleasure and honour to recommend Shreyash Ayu for admission into [University
Name]. I had the pleasure of working with Shreyash for a duration of 6 months during which I was
his professor for Metallurgy Lab (an accompanying lab course for the theory subject of Metrology) at
SRM Institute of Science and Technology. I strongly believe Shreyash is of the type of student that
gives his work initial preference, and, in my opinion, a student who is deserving of an admission from
a top-flight university in the United States.

On a personal level, I know Shreyash to be a boy of strong, wilful character who embodies all
the traits one would look for in a student looking to join their university. Specifically, I was
astounded by his involvement, commitment and his rather perfectionist attitude. It was always in his
best interest to complete a task with maximum efficiency. According to me, his work during his
major project (Comparative Study of the surface quality of Cryo-Inserts with untreated inserts during
trochoidal milling) was already on a level that would usually only be expected from a graduate
student.

It is my strong opinion that Shreyash would be a tremendous addition to your university’s
