India becomes the home to the largest number of Child Labourers in the world. The census
found an increase in the number of child labours from

Children who are under 14 years old age work on tea-stalls, restaurants, hotels factories,
houses and construction of buildings are called child labour. It is shameful to India that even
after 66 years of independence these children have tools instead of books. According to me
the main reason behind child labour is poverty, children work as child labour just to satisfy
their hunger.
