BHOOMI Greenland is the largest island in the world .The capital of Greenland is Nuuk .It is located
between the Arctic Ocean and the North Atlantic Ocean, means that the Greenland is totally surrounded
by cold ocean, so the coasts are constantly being cooled. Greenland has no land boundaries and 44,087
km of coastline. A sparse population is confined to small settlements along the coast. Greenland

SAAKSHI The history of Greenland is the history of life under extreme Arctic conditions. During World
War II, Greenland became effectively detached, socially and economically, from Denmark and became
more connected to the United States and Canada. Although Greenland is still a part of the Kingdom
of Denmark.

HARIVANSH The Economy of Greenland suffered negative growth in the early 1990s, but since 1993 the
economy has improved. The Greenland Home Rule Government has pursued a tight fiscal policy since
the late 1980s which has helped create surpluses in the public budget and low inflation. The economy
remains critically dependent on exports of fish, whaling and textilesand substantial support from the
Danish Government, which supplies about half of government revenues

YASHIKA Greenland has an Arctic climate, but owing to the size of the country there are great
variations in the weather from region to. As for most things in Greenland, the climate is influenced by
the ever-present ice. The ice is partly responsible for the formation of large high pressure systems
Winters can be severe and the summers relatively mild, especially in regins which are surrounded by
hilld and sheltered from the prevailing winds. Precipitation, mostly snow, is moderately heavy around
the coast. The north of the country, and much of the interior, have real Arctic conditions, with the
temperature only rising above freezing for short periods in the summer.

SARAL IGLOO, An igloo is a type of shelter built of snow, originally built by the Inuit.Igloos are also
called snowhouse. Although igloos are usually associated with all Inuit. Inuit people tended to use snow
to insulate their houses, which were constructed from whalebone and hides. Snow is used because the
air pockets trapped in it make it an insulator. TUPIQ, The tupiq is a traditional Inuit tent made from seal
or caribou skin. Inuit must kill 5 to 10 ugjuk to make a seal skin tent. If a man goes hunting for four to
five, he would bring a small tent made out of five ugjuit. A family tent would be made of ten or
more ugjuit.

FATIMA The animals of Greenland with thick fur survive well. Many animal live in Greenland such as
walrus,seal,polar bear etc. walrus is used to make boots .seal is used to make special boats like kayaks
and polar bear are used to make jackets with fur and cap.Animals like huskies are used as
transportation.
