Online Knowledge Sharing Portal

Abstract
The main motive of this project is to make interactions between the odds in the college from
the normal easier and create awareness among students aspiring for good career need to be
guided in better way. As it came to notice that most of the students don’t have any idea of
events, innovations, and so on in the college, it couldn’t be a benefit to move any further for
good career. The “Online Knowledge Sharing Portal” helps students for their career
development, placement issues, and so on.
Our website is easy to use for both beginners and advanced users with attractive interface and
includes the best techniques for reporting capabilities. This knowledge exchange website can
be real helping for a clarity in career under the guidance of experts from different domains.
This portal helps to share a student’s internship experience, company one was placed, approach
for attending and dealing with interviews, views on books read by different pupil, helps to
create links with Alumni, finding the people with same areas of interests in the college and an
online session for 1 hour per weeks with Alumni or TNP cell professionals.

Methodology
 HTML with CSS for the web pages designing and implementation
 MySQL for relational database system
 PHP for database connection
 PHP for online chat session
