Base on his physical
assessment, the client has an amputated leg, an undiagnosed hypertension, and he is starting to have a blur vision. Prior to the homevisit, the client was also bitten by a rat on his 5 right toes due to his sweet blood. These are manifestations of a chronic diabetes that is not improving.
The client’s current
management for his condition is taking the medication religiously. But adhering to his diet is not one of his priorities. If he continues this bad eating habits then he is at high risk of having another leg being amputated or worse, blindness. 4.
