MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESES PRESENT:

This Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) made and executed on the ____ day of _________, 2019 and
between:

The DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURSES – CENTRO IRIGA CITY, a government
agency existing under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, with office address at Sta. Cruz, iriga
City represented by its OIC, CENR OFFICER, NESTOR FRANZ A. FORTUNO hereinafter referred to as the
“DENR”

-and-

The CAMARINES SUR III ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE, INC. (CASURECO III), a service-oriented electric
cooperative and with office address at San Isidro, Iriga City represented by herein by its ACTING
GENERAL MANAGER, ENGR. WILFREDO O. BUCSIT, hereinafter referred to as the “CASURECO III”;

The DENR and CASURECO III are collectively referred herein as “PARTIES”.

WITNESSETH:

WHEREAS, the DENR is the primary agency responsible for the conservation, development, protection
and utilization of the country’s natural resources for the benefit of the present and future generations;

WHEREAS, Executive Order No. 193 expanded the implementation of the National Greening Program
(ENGP) as a government priority in order to pursue sustainable development for poverty alleviation,
food security, climate change mitigation and adaptation and biodiversity conservation, with the DENR as
the lead agency;

WHEREAS, the DENR recognizes the importance of partnership and collaboration to achieve the
objectives of the ENGP;

WHEREAS, the CASURECO III has committed to contribution to the national effort by planting seedlings,
maintaining and protecting the planted seedlings during effectively of this MOA;

NOW THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the foregoing premises, and the mutual conversant herein
set forth, the parties hereby stipulate and agree as follows:
