Vikas Chadha is the Group Chief Financial officer at the Ampersand
group which is an Indian integrated education services provider,
primarily engaged in K-12 education and aggressively expanding into
other auxiliary business verticals. It provides education across prominent
boards – CBSE, IGCSE, CIE under the brand “Vibgyor”, a premium
brand catering to ~50,000+ students across 34 schools across India. It
also has several allied management business services, such as School
supply chain solutions, Transportation solutions, Sports & Events
management, Content development, etc. with a vision to extend these
services to third-party educational institutions with a strong presence
Chairperson within metro’s and tier-1 and 2 cities in India.
Professionally Vikas is a qualified Chartered Accountant from the

Day 1
Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Cost Accountant from
ICWAI; he has 22 years of experience in finance, business planning,
Banking , Treasury , Fund raise and strategy. His last assignment was
as the Executive Director and CFO for Los Angeles based Berggruen
group for their hospitality vertical in India run under the brand “ Keys
Hotels “. He lead their development initiatives on all fronts including
building of the owned asset portfolio and subsequently working on the
asset light strategy for management and Franchisee hotels. Prior to
10 - 11 October 2019
Berggruen Hotels Vikas has held several leadership positions in blue Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai
chip companies like Marico Ltd , Bharti Airtel , Thomas Cook Ltd and International Airport
Tata Global Beverages ltd . He has worked with these companies
extensively to evaluate the various growth options for companies he has
associated with where his experience added tremendously to business
operations and ventures, focusing on their Growth, turnaround and
profitability enhancement. He has been an active speaker at various
leadership forums and has been actively involved in representing the
industry on various economic forums.
Vikas recently has been recognised this year by “CFO India” in their
Role of Honour as Top 100 Influential CFO’s of India, 2019. Vikas was
also recognised as most influential CFO’s India by Chartered Institute of
Management accountants, UK (CIMA) and was also awarded as Best
CFO in Travel and Tourism by ET Now, 2018.
