Initial testing indicates that within a three minute time frame, there will be no failures up to 900° F Thirty second tests at 1500°F also showed no failure to either the camera, LED's, chamber or clectrical connections. With a quick twist the unigue telescoping desigr. ccan be extended from 30 inches to 126 inches. The thin wall hardened aluminum tube has six sections which can be extended individually. A 1.70" working diameter allows the probe to be inserted into small diameter spaces. The camera is inexpensive to replace in case of catastrophic failure. The US-1490 HiTempProbe™ receives its vision and power from the US-454 EddyView™ via cable. When attached to the US- 454 EddyView™, this hand held camera displays crystal-clear, full color video on a 6.5" diagonal LCD flat panel sereen. All necessary software and connections are included with the US-454 EddyView™ for the US-1490 HiTempProbe™ to be plugged in and working in a short amount of time.
