c) Five characteristics of a well-designed survey questionnaire are that the

length of the questionnaire must be proper. Avoid making the

questionnaire too long by asking irrelevant and unnecessary questions

rather be precise.

It has easy and simple language that is understood by many and avoid use, organ

that the responded might not understand and avoid ambigious language by

keeping simple and concise.


Instructions of the questionnaire are clear in the sense that every respondent

understand and arranges questions in a logical sequence or send reasoning

It doesn’t have leading questions that pushes the responded to treat in particular

way and it able one question at a time which enable the responded to answer all

question without any conclusion

The answers should be short and précises as well as accurate and relevant to the

problem. They should be understandable to everyone for the respondents.
