SURGERY
Surgery is medical specialty that uses operative manual and instrumental
techniques on a patient to investigate or treat a pathological condition such as a
disease or injury, to help improve bodily function or appearance or to repair on
wanted ruptured areas.
A surgeon is a person who practices surgery and a surgeon's assistant is a
person who practices surgical assistance. A surgical team is made up
of surgeon, surgeon's assistant, anesthesia provider, circulating nurse and surgical
technologist.
Type of surgery of procedure
1. Amputation involve cutting off a body part.
2. Reconstruction involve reconstruction off an injured..
3. Cosmetic surgery improve the appearance to be a normal structure.
4. Transplantation surgery is the replacement of an organ on body
part from insertion of another from differ human into the patient.
5. Reconstructive surgery: This type of surgical action is performed
to correct any part of the body that is severely injured, disfigured,
or damaged by injury, disease or surgery previously performed by
the patient, such as removal of the breast.
6. Graft: A graft is a surgical action in which an organ or body part is
replaced by an organ from another source.

Type of surgery of timing


1. Elective surgery. This surgical action is perfomed for the treatment
of diseases that do not endanger the patient life and only done
because of the patient’s request
2. Emergency surgery to save the patient’s slave or the patient’s body
part. This surgary usually be done after a patient has an accident or
injury cause trauma.
3. Semi elective surgery is perform to prevent the effect or affect of
an illness or injury but not necessarily. This sugery may be delayed
for a while.

1. Heart surgery is surgical action performed on the heart
2. Orthopedy surgery is surgical action taken to deal with abnormalitaies in
the bones and muscles
3. Gastrointestinal surgery: Gastrointestinal surgery cn overcome certain
abnormalities in the digestive tract and various organs associated with the
digestive tract.
Type of surgery of incision
1. Laparotomy: Laparotomy surgery requires a large incision
2. Laparoscopy: Surgery that requires only a small incision called
laparoscopic surgery; today most of the major surgical treatments have the
equivalent of surgical action using laparoscopic techniques, thereby
reducing recovery time as well as the pain and discomfort experienced by
patients
