CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Summer Internship: Microsoft India Development Center, Hyderabad in Microsoft Dynamics CRM
Division: A customer relationship management software generating revenues of over a billion
dollars:
Internship Projects :-
1)Social Integration with CRM: Extended the existing CRM social application and added support to
generate CRM entities, Lead and Opportunity, directly from Twitter posts. Also added support for
fetching posts using Facebooks Graph API and entity creation directly from Facebook posts using
plugins. Project was scheduled for 8 weeks but managed to complete all specifications in 4
weeks.Project was demonstrated and well received by Mr. Jujhar Singh, General Manager of CRM
and the CRM Leadership team.
2)Entity Metadata Generation Tool: Automatic Generation of CRM system entity XML’s from
custom entity XML’s. The tool automatically generated all entities, relationships and activities based
on user input from CRM User Interface and helped reduce developer work time from 1 week to
under 6 hours.
3)SLA Dashboard: Created plugin to fetch data and create CRM charts to help monitor
performance of Asynchronous jobs in CRM.

College Projects:
•Text Editor : Created a text editor as a group project for the course Systems programming.
Implemented an efficient spelling checker and spell suggestion features.
•Relational Database Querying Software: Creation of SQL like software for Database Management
and querying for the course Database Systems.
•Live Stock Market Database and Analysis: A website for querying and analysis of stock values of
various companies and making suggestions to the user based on analysis of various patterns and
trends for the course Database Systems Lab.
•2 Player Chess game using “graphics.h” library in C for the course Computer Graphics.

Other Activities:-
•Currently ranked 4th worldwide in the list of contributors to the discussion forum on Codechef.com.
Have regularly helped in solving doubts and contributed useful articles to the forum.
•Events and Project Coordinator, Web Enthusiasts Club NITK, a bunch of programmers working on
various projects and to promote programming culture in the college.
•Executive member of Robotics Club, NITK Have helped design algorithms for robotics events.
•Executive Member of Computer Science Events Committee, Engineer 2013 the annual technical
festival of NITK.
•Helped organize Inscription 2013 and Tux Coder 2014, annual programming contests held by NITK
which witnessed participation of over 250 contestants from more than 10 countries. Involved in
problem setting, testing and in writing editorials for the contest.

Algorithms courses in 5th and 6th Semester.
