UX Process / User Personas
Business Analyst

•  Personas will be fictional representations of UX Strategists

your users (a bit like user stand-ins).

•  They are fictional, but should be based on fact.
•  They will represent the goals, motivations,
characteristics and behaviors of a real group of
users.
•  This exercise will help to put a human face to
users. This will help the project team to get
consensus on who the ‘users’ are and help to
communicate important information about
users.

UX Process / User Scenarios
Business Analyst

•  This stage will outline the steps that a user UX Strategists

(usually in the form of a persona) will take for a

given scenario. Like scenario maps they can
either be for existing scenarios, or for envisaged
scenarios.
•  This will help in identifying the features and
functionality that will be required to support
the desired scenario and for bringing a future
product or service to life by telling the user’s
story.

UX Process / User Journey
Business Analyst

•  This exercise will detail out the journey of the UX Strategists

user to complete particular tasks

•  The journey is usually broken down into the
steps taken by the user, often with visuals
shown to help illustrate the story.

UX Process / Process Diagrams
Business Analyst

•  The process diagrams will visually show a UX Strategists

process, including the different decision points

UX Strategists

•  The UX Designer will draw rough sketches of

key screens, modules and functionalities which
will be shared with key stakeholders for point
of initial discussion.
•  This will help us understand and validate our
initial thoughts before we move on to the
detailed functional wireframes
•  These are usually sketches and low-fi
prototypes
•  With some informal testing and after
presenting our approach to you and making any
needed corrections, we begin the high-fidelity
wireframes.

UX Process / Wireframes
UX Strategists

•  EvolutionCo will be creating high-fidelity wireframes/

prototypes which will shows the UI elements (text,
images, buttons, links etc…) for each screen, page or
UI component.
•  This will be like a blueprint for the UI, showing which
elements make up the UI and how they should
behave, but not necessarily what the UI will look like.
•  These wireframes will be clickable prototypes which
will be mapped to the user journey
•  We will present wireframes for the major page views
(10-15) and get your feedback/approval on them.
•  Based on feedback/approval the remaining pages will
be completed

•  We then present our findings to you with a list of
recommended changes and make them to the
designs.
•  Based on the test reports we will revisit the
