Duty Team

Role Descriptor
Practice sessions and games will be better if all necessary equipment and
supporting roles are performed well. Teams should be confident that equipment
is set up appropriately and efficiently, that Scorekeepers keep accurate score,
and that Officials apply the rules effectively and fairly.

When It Is Your Turn To Be Duty Team, Your Team


Is Responsible for:
 Organizing equipment before and after lessons.

 Make sure that all teams know the draw (who is playing whom and on
what field/court)

 Starting and ending games on time.

 Recording and collecting the results of games.

 Providing officials for all games.

 Providing Scorekeepers for all games.

 Dealing with and solving problems.

 Assisting the teacher when asked.

What You Need To Be Able To Do and Know


 Be quick and safe in equipment set-up/collection.
 Keep an equipment inventory.
 Be willing to help other duty team members.
 Double-check and willingness to troubleshoot.
