ABSTRACT

Bamboo has been widely known to be strong in tensile strength and commonly used
as scaffoldings in structural constructions. In this paper, the researchers shall be able
to identify the effects of replacing only 20% of concrete components: cement, water,
and, aggregates by bamboo fiber to the existing tensile strength of a normal concrete
mixture by subjecting a total of 9 specimen with three different ratio of components to
split-cylinder tests.
