    Independent on antigen recognition (non specific)
    - barriers (physical, chemicals, mechanical)
    - complement, cytokines (TNF, IL-1)
    - cells :phagocytes (mononuclear, polymorphonuclear)
    NK cells
     The second line of defense :
    Dependent on antigen recognition (Specific)
    - humoral : antibodies
    - cell-mediated : T cells, Mφ
    - combination : ADCC
