WHAT MAKES SPECIAL EDUCATION SPECIAL?

Special Education is a set of programs or services specially designed to meet the unique needs
of learners with disabilities that cannot be sufficiently met using traditional educational programs
or techniques. It is called special because the children have different and incredible abilities that
needs alternative, special ways to teach them and enhance their skills.

The Special Education focus on helping the learners develop academic skills, self-help skills,
social proficiency, a positive attitude and self confidence. Special Education is specially develop for
those children. They deserve extra attention and high quality education. They are made unique,
they may not be good at sports but they are good at solving puzzles or art.

They may not act the way a child should be but they have different ways on expressing how
they feel. We just have to lend some time in understanding them and Special Education will be a
great way to give them the education they need. It will help them discover and develop their
unique abilities.
