Michaella Jade P.

Lanoria

Before I will start, let me greet everyone a “Great Morning” This is how we
greet our teachers, classmates and staffs in our school. “Great”, because we
believe “Everything is always going to be great. So now, May I request everyone
to greet the person beside you a great morning too?
My name is Michaella Jade P. Lanoria, a Grade 6 student and an elected
President of the Student Council of Miraculous Medal School in Sucat A.Y. 2019-
2020. It is an honor to be standing here and to be chosen as a representative of
my school. Last June, we had our SCO election and I remembered the time I
talked in front of my fellow Blue Knights students regarding my vision if I will be
elected as President of SCO. And today, I would also like to share my vision to all
of you, My 3 Rs.
The first R is “Reach”. Once I was in my first grade, I wasn’t able to socialize
with anyone. I was very shy at that time and I felt like nobody wanted me. But
with the help of my mentors, teachers, and my parents, I learned how to value
and appreciate myself and to develop my talents. This is why I am here today. It is
all because of them. I don’t want my fellow students to just stay in one corner
thinking that they are not important, that they don’t matter to anyone. I want
them to realize how good they are and how important they are, not just for me
but to the whole world. As a leader I am always here to reach out for those
students whom I see the potential deep inside their mind and their heart. For I
know that they can reach the top of the mountain and reap their reward. I am
glad to share with all of you that my school offers a lot of help through different
clubs that enhances our unique skills and talents in music, arts, literacy, sports,
and many more.
My second R that I want to share to everyone is about “Respect”. We
always hear this word. As a student I believe respect develop our attitude to the
people around us. One of the issues regarding respect is bullying. Bullying had
caused a lot of problems to children. Children that experienced bullying suffer
from depression and anxiety; because of this they are being discouraged to attain
their goals in life. But I also realize that bullying doesn’t only happen to the
students but also to the teachers. I am very upset and sad whenever I watch a
video in social media where in the student violates the rights of a teacher and
they don’t even realize how hard they work for us. Sometimes I can feel the
sadness of those teachers and it makes me feel bad for them. That’s why I want to
teach my fellow students the importance of respect not just for their classmates
but especially to their teachers because they deserved better than being bullied
and that is to be love. I am proud to say that we the Blue Knights, the Miraculous
Medal School’s students can impose the value of respect to everyone.
Remember my first R reach and my second R respect? Cause if you combine
this two, it will put up my third R. This R is “Relationship”, a good relationship. Do
you have a friend? If you answered yes, then that’s good. But how can you say
that you are true friends? If you answered that your friend is always there by your
side, you trust each other, and respect one another, be proud because you are
truly great friends. When building a relationship, you are also building teamwork.
They say that one can make good things, but two can make their own wonders
and share these wonders to each other. I as a leader can lead them to the door
but they will be the one to open it and make way for more opportunities.
I hope you remember me, as you remember my 3 R’s Reach, Respect, and
Relationship. Once again, I am Michaella Jade Lanoria, proud BLUE KNIGHTS from
Miraculous Medal School, where GREATNESS BEGINS! Great Morning everyone!
